Friendly and helpful staff. They were able to get my son’s wisdom teeth removed quickly when other surgeons would’ve taken several months for an appointment! The doctor was great and procedure was fast n easy. The surgery room and office was very clean. I would highly recommend BERKS Oral Surgery in Hamburg!! Thank you for all of your help!!

I could’ve sworn I wrote a review about my experience with wisdom teeth removal here, but I must not have (just recounted it to others so many times). I understand there are good reviews, but I don’t have one good thing to say about them. I had my surgery October 6 of 2022 (all four), and had asked to be told what was going on before being put under. I was assured I would be told every step of the way, yet had radio silence even up to me going under (I’m not scared of needles, just never was under anesthesia). While losing consciousness I had to ask if I was supposed to feel that already because nobody told me anything. Days go by after the surgery and all is well, until I start developing increasing pain. We called in and were asked to wait a few days to see if it subsided. It did not, so they brought me in. Told me I had partial dry socket and that they were going to clean it out instead of pack it like they normally do. I wish I would have just asked them to pack it. The doctor was not very kind, and having water shot into my nerve was torturous. I left on the verge of tears out of pain and fear and was told to take a combination of 600mg advil and 1000mg extra strength tylenol every 6 hrs. After a few days of that, unfortunately I began throwing up as I was unable to stomach the medicine. Ended up at Urgent Care which told me I would have had better luck at the ER for actually helping the (still painful) surgical site. Had to be put on additional meds to be able to take the advil/tylenol medication. Dentist said my holes were healing slower than normal by the time I had my yearly checkup.

I went yesterday to have three wisdom teeth removed, and I was so nervous! But Amy and Dr. Ryan Calvi were amazing. Everyone was so kind and helped me feel calm. Amy even stayed with me until the anesthesia wore off — that was so thoughtful. I feel very good now and definitely recommend them!

As usual, Dr. Calvi and staff at the Hamburg Berks Oral Surgery office were wonderful and took great care of me. I had 3 extractions yesterday, and feel great today! Thanks to all!

The care I received was excellent from the Doctor and the staff at Berks Oral Surgery. My procedure went without a hitch and I was feeling better the next day. Highly recommend!
