Very good experience. After having had a different result (not bad) from my prior oral surgery at another Dr. I was worried and anxious but the staff was so comforting and guided me every step of the way. Still in post op recovery but I appreciate the staff being so kind and supportive including doctor Rotwein answering my call at 8pm since my surgery was so late in the day. The receptionist Cindy was great also and very thorough in the pre op instructions, all very professional and comforting at the same time. Definitely recommend.

I had an emergency while visiting the Big Island, and Dr. Ben and his team took incredible care of me. The staff was warm, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease. This is truly a state-of-the-art practice with a highly skilled and dedicated oral and maxillofacial surgeon. I couldn’t have asked for better care—highly recommend!

I recently got an implant from Big Island Oral Surgery and am very pleased with the whole experience. The staff was caring and professional. Dr Rotwein's comprehensive explanation of the situation, and his detailed descriptions of surgical options, eliminated any anxiety I had. And the visualization tech was amazing. After the procedure, having told me again what to expect during recovery, Dr Rotwein provided his personal contact info for any off hour concerns I might have. All in all, I received excellent care, and couldn't be happier with the results.

This is the second time one of my family members had a procedure at Big Island Oral Surgery and both were very positive experiences. The office staff is diligent, efficient, and kind. They are very service oriented and create more ease in what could be a stressful and anxiety-filled event. The surgeon was very informative and used language that I could understand. He even called later in the evening to check on the patient! I am so happy our family dentist referred us to Big Island Oral Surgery.

The pre- and post-operative instructions were explained thoroughly and clearly, ensuring I felt informed and prepared throughout the process. Every member of the staff was professional, courteous, and welcoming, creating a positive and comfortable experience from start to finish. Dr. Rotwein demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and compassion. His communication was clear and reassuring, and he conducted himself with a calm and confident demeanor that inspired trust. The procedure was completed efficiently and successfully, and I greatly appreciated receiving a partial refund due to the surgery being less extensive and time-consuming than anticipated. Overall, I was highly satisfied with the quality of care and service I received and would confidently recommend this practice to others.
