They our wonderful people that work forî Dr T we call him because his name so long. It’s hard to say that properly he’s a wonderful dentist specialist, surgeon and gentlemen I love all his staff. They’re so kind and caring and they all do such a wonderful job. I can give them a good enough recommendation for anybody that’s looking for a professional wonderful Office atmosphere is beautiful just everything’s perfect so if you want to get us the surgeon, you need one
One to use so thank you so much for listening to my two I am rattling on, but he is such a good dentist. Well specialist not just a dentist.

AWESOME Oral Surgeon!
Today was my second encounter with Dr T. It was another awesome experience!!! Quick and clean!!!

"Coming from a traumatic experience with a previous dentist, I was preparing myself for a worse scenario when I met Dr Shahin Taghikhan at Stadium Dental, Manteca. His entry to my cubicle immediately caught me in awe! He spoke with care and concern, assuring me that the ensuing procedure was going to be smooth and easy. He was quick and sure of his moves, leaving me no time to stress out and worry. The surgery took less than 10 minutes! Whoah .... Plus, this tall, handsome surgeon makes you 'starstruck'. i hope to be under his care again, hopefully NOT for a serious dental issue ...
I wish to commend the assisting staff as well, who were caring and kind, traits of empathy which seem to be gradually dissipating in medical practice. Lastly, a double thumbs up to the frontend crew without whose efficient coordination, my initial experience at Stadium could have been another nightmare ... I am therefore grateful!"

My 18-year old had to remove four wisdom teeth. Dr. Taghikan and his staff were great with providing information and scheduling. The surgery itself was quick. Dr. T is clearly very skilled and we appreciate his easygoing manner. Highly recommend!

Dr. T and his staff are lovely. Helped find the root (pun intended) cause of my issue and quickly made sure to take care of it in the most effective and efficient way possible. Made me feel very comfortable and like my healthcare really mattered. :)

Both my son and daughter had their wisdom teeth removed here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. T is VERY good at doing the surgery and making sure my kids healed well and had the proper pre-surgery and post-surgery care.
Hopefully he will still be practicing by the time my youngest is 18 and needing his wisdom teeth out.

Blossom Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral surgery practice at 704 Blossom Hill Road, Suite 102, in South San Jose, serving patients of all ages from San Jose, Santa Clara County, and the wider Bay Area. The office describes itself as conveniently located near Highways 85, 87, and 101, with parking and morning hours. Formerly the office of Dr. Ned Nix, who practiced here from 2000 to 2023, the practice is now led by board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Shahin Taghikhan, who continues what the practice calls its tradition of excellence.
For patients considering tooth replacement, the practice offers several types of dental implants, including single implants, same-day implant placement for good candidates, implant-supported bridges, and full-arch replacement, where a few implants anchor a permanent set of teeth. Bone grafting is also available to support implant treatment. The office uses CBCT three-dimensional imaging to view bone, soft tissue, and nerve pathways when planning implant cases, and the staff is licensed and certified to provide in-office intravenous sedation for patient comfort. Other services include wisdom teeth and general tooth extractions, treatment of impacted canines, oral pathology, facial trauma care, and cleft lip and palate repair. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and the practice serves patients in English and Spanish.
Meet the Doctors
Dr. Shahin Taghikhan, DDS, is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He earned his bachelor's degree in microbial biology at UC Berkeley and his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of the Pacific in 2014, then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UCSF-Fresno, graduating in 2018. He served as an assistant professor in the Indiana University oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program, worked with children at the cleft lip and palate and craniofacial clinic in the Riley Children's Hospital system, and completed a one-year fellowship in head and neck cancer surgery. Dr. Taghikhan provides deep sedation for wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, and other oral surgery procedures, and holds hospital privileges at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Gatos and Regional Medical Center in San Jose. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
