You’re not a patient you’re a cash cow. I just want a cleaning not the up sales. I put up with the move and the packed schedule to be told if I didn’t get the expensive X-rays, I needed to find another dentist.

I attempted to post a review on the business site but was blocked. I have been a patient with this practice for 13years. When Dr Gillian’s took over the practice there was a significant turn over this continues to be an issue. Cleanings that used to be scheduled every 6 months went to 8months, 10 months etc. Today when I went in for a scheduled and was told that they sent me an email, NO PHONE CALL, yo notify me my hygienist left and my appointment was CANCELED. They had no appointment available for me as my hygienist had left. Last I checked the hygienist were not independent contractors and the point of going to a dental practice was to meet all your dental hygiene needs. I was told to find an independent hygienist and Dr Gillian’s would see me for emergencies. I have never had anything handled more unprofessionally. I was not happy this practice prior to this event but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I do not recommend Dr Gillian’s!

My cleaning with Sam was thorough, informative, and positive. I’ve had significant dental work early in life and have tried hard to maintain good oral hygiene in spite of past issues. Sam noticed and made me feel good and hopeful about my efforts. She & Dr. Gillins also gave helpful suggestions to address pH and enamel erosion. I felt comfortable and well attended to.

Long time patient of Dr. Aponte & then Dr. Gillins. Got a letter three days prior to cleaning appointment that it was cancelled & go find another hygienist. Not even a phone call. Very unprofessional letter stating that the hygienist was NOT a team player. Perhaps he needs to look at his management style. Very disappointed!

My family had been patients for nearly 20 years since Dr. Aponte owned the practice. After the new ownership, it became harder and harder to be seen and followed by Dr. Gillens. All members of my family found it more and more difficult to be regularly followed according to ADA guidelines, as we had with Dr Aponte. While Covid clearly was a contributing factor at first, the blaming of my concerns on Covid started to wear thin. My belief is that the practice took on more patients than it could handle, the regular staff appears to have retired or left the practice and those of us that built the successful practice that Dr. Gillens was able to acquire were not valued by this new owner. After some searching, we found a dental practice run by a local dentist and staff who seems to understand community healthcare, value their patients and accordingly scale the business to take care of them. We are now working on repairing the impacts of the neglect by Dr. Gillens. I would not trust the priorities of this practice and do not recommend this dentist.
