I had the most pleasant experience at New Jersey Oral, Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery. When I called to make my appointment, the receptionist at the front desk was so friendly, professional, and helpful, not only on the phone but in person as well. Upon arriving at the office, I was greeted with a hello and a warm smile during check-in as well as from all the professional staff I encountered during my appointment. I immediately felt at ease with everyone in the office and appreciated the fun and upbeat atmosphere. Dr. Maloney is highly skilled, knowledgeable and explained everything step by step during the entire process of my tooth extraction. I want to thank Dr. Maloney and his procedure assistant again for their patience and kindness in keeping me calm, comfortable and even laughing at times during my entire procedure. Dr. Maloney and his entire professional staff are truly kind, compassionate, and completely earned my trust. My experience at New Jersey Oral, Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery in Berkley Heights was a very pleasant one and I highly suggest you come here (the music in the waiting room is great as well)!

Doctor Karl Maloney and his staff are amazing! After calling around to numerous maxillofacial/oral surgeons, I finally found the correct doctor and office staff for my particular problem. The doctor was knowledgeable, professional, and polite, and he was very considerate of my fear of being there. Great bedside manner. Nobody wants to go to an oral surgeon. But this doctor and his team made my procedure a breeze. Kelly, his surgical assistant, will put you at ease immediately. She was also knowledgeable, professional, and polite, all with a great sense of ease that all will be OK. Kelly, I very much appreciate you! Ashley at the front desk was courteous and prompt in answering my questions. Jackie, the office manager, handled all my billing questions. This office runs like a well-oiled machine. All the staff are on the same page, and there is great communication between the office, the patient, and the doctor. Thank you for your help. Super clean attentive office. I'm so glad to have you all as part of my health care team.

Dr. Maloney did my oral surgery on May7th. I had 5 teeth extracted at one time. Before my initial consultation with Dr. Maloney, to say I was "squeemish" about 5 extractions, would be the best description. However, his professionalism, and recommendation for sedation, eased my apprehension. On the day of my surgery, from start to finish, was the best experience a dental surgery patient could hope for. It was only the 2nd time in my life, at 65, of being sedated, or under anesthesia. Dr. Maloney's surgical assistant, Brianna, was calming, and prepared me in an organized manner. She was really good. The office staff were also friendly, and conducted my appointments in an arranged and professional manner. My surgery took only one hour, and I felt absolutely nothing during the extractions. Post surgery instructions were clear. About a week after my surgery, Brianna called me to follow up on my recovery from surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Maloney's oral surgery practice to others.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place! I had my wisdom teeth removed here and everything was smooth and comfortable up until the time I walked out. The staff here is unbelievably nice and so easy to talk to. They make you feel so comfortable before your procedure and make sure everything is okay. I had Roxie for my procedure and she was making me laugh and we had a whole conversation before that completely took away any nerves, she was just the best. Dr. Maloney is absolutely amazing at what he does. He takes time to speak to the patients, get them comfortable and acclimated to everything and instills a sense of comfort to eliminate any nerves. The office is clean and inviting and comfortable and doesn’t feel like a surgeons office at all which really helps! Dentists/oral surgeon offices can be so intimidating and scary sometimes but this is the farthest thing from that. I cannot recommend this place, Doctor and his staff enough!

Just got my wisdom teeth removed this morning and already leaving this review. Staff were SO nice and comforting. Dr. Maloney made me feel at ease and it is very clear he is well experienced in his field. Thank you to all of you!

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University and his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry, then completed five years of oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, with an emphasis on dentoalveolar surgery, implants, corrective jaw surgery, trauma and reconstructive surgery, and oral pathology. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of AO CMF, the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Maloney is on staff at Morristown Medical Center, where he also teaches in the dentistry residency program, and he has published peer-reviewed articles on bone grafting, cone beam three-dimensional imaging, and facial trauma and reconstruction.
