I recently came here for wisdom tooth removal and was extremely pleased with my experience. Starting with my consultation all the way through to my recovery everyone from front desk, nurses, and Dr. were phenomenal. Dr. Chun was funny, knowledgeable, competent, and compassionate throughout the whole process. She really understood and listened to my worries and eased my nerves, answering all my questions…I could tell she really cared and had my best interest at heart. I really appreciated how the staff went out of their way to reassure me and took all my phone calls especially since i had a lot of anxiety about the procedure and recovery. I am so glad I came here and cant say enough good things about Dr. Chun, she is truly one of the best and took great care of me. If you have any fears about dental work make sure to get your procedure done here…you wont regret it.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Brandywine Oral Surgery. The doctor and procedure was fine, but their staff is a problem.
When I first called their office years ago, I encountered a rude staff member, but I chose to move forward anyway. Fast forward a year and a half after my procedure, I was suddenly hit with a $562 bill that I was never made aware of. This all surfaced at the same time I needed another tooth extracted, while I was in significant pain.
When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was told I had to pay $700 on the spot to cover both the old balance and today’s visit. Even worse, I was told that if I didn’t have $700 in cash, it would be $750 if paid by credit card. When I explained I could contribute toward the balance and fully pay for today’s procedure, they refused to see me at all. I truly believe that since I expressed concerns about my past due balance and called my insurance company and let them know that I still needed more time to pay it and investigate. That is why they did not want to see me today, but they never mentioned to me in the 3 to 4 phone calls I had to pay the past due balance off to be seen for today’s appointment.
What makes this situation even more frustrating is that the front desk admitted they made mistakes They did not properly verify my insurance and failed to notify me about this balance for over a year. Despite acknowledging their errors, they showed zero compassion and only focused on collecting money.
I was in extreme pain and was treated with complete indifference. The staff was unprofessional and rude, and the manager refused to even come out and speak with me. I was calm, did not yell or curse, yet I was still refused care and asked to leave their office.
This practice lacks professionalism, accountability, and basic patient care. I would strongly caution anyone considering treatment here—especially if you expect transparency, empathy, or ethical billing practices.

Dr. Famiglio was my oral surgeon 20 years ago and was professional, compassionate and trusted. I recently visited this practice due to my very warm and positive past experience with him - with new dental concerns and saw Dr. Chun. She was demeaning, rude, unprofessional, accusatory and loud. I would encourage anyone seeking compassionate dental care to make sure to not schedule with Dr. Chun. She lacks all empathy and is defensive in approach.

I truly appreciate my experience with you all. The staff was very pleasant and informative. My procedure went smoothly and I’m happy with putting trust into you alls hands. After my procedure the dentist personally called to ensure my recovery and was going accordingly. Highly recommend. Thank you.

I never write reviews but I have to here. I have the worst anxiety when it comes to anything dental and I’ve never met a Dr like Dr. Famiglio. His amazing energy just shows he genuinely enjoys what he does. He was so patient with all of my questions and made me feel so valued and comfortable. I got my wisdom teeth out today and already feel great. I will never trust another oral surgeon like I do him. Can’t recommend him enough!
