I had my first and second appointment with Bright Smiles today. I have really bad teeth due to a multitude of reasons. I had given up on the idea of being able to afford getting my teeth fixed. I was able to get on insurance finally, but there was a rather large out of pocket expense. I expected that because of how poor my mouth is. I figured working my budget, I would have a nice smile in two years, tops. Today, Dr. Eric Michael Visser and the team there surprised me by covering my out of pocket costs. I am overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of this Team, and Dr. Visser. From the second you step into the office you are warmly greeted and made to feel right at home. The lovely ladies there are so kind, from the Young Lady who took my ex rays, to the Dental Hygienist, to the tech who took care of me through my three crowns today, I was treated with warmth and respect. I thank everyone who took care of me today, and I look forward to returning for future appointments. Thank you again.

The dental assistant, dental hygienist, and dentist (Dr. Eric Michael Visser) were all wonderful. They were thorough, friendly, and made me feel comfortable coming in & confident leaving. They answered any questions I had, and checked all of the areas of concern I had (& more). I had the best experience coming back to a dental office after a couple of years of not being able to go. I was feeling a little nervous, but from the moment I stepped in I was given exceptional care.

I had to have a crown and a filling. The dentist and dental assistants were all very caring and did a wonderful job. My insurance did not cover any of the cost of the crown. I did get an estimate of my out of pocket expense before scheduling the procedure, $1,044.20. It would have been very helpful if I was provided a list of “Ways to Pay” along with my estimate outlining all of my options and the fees associated with each. If you pay with a credit card there is a fee of 10% of the total bill. In my case, this resulted in an extra $40 for paying by credit card on top of the over $1044, which was difficult financially. Had I been provided this information before my procedure, it would have prevented some frustration. The receptionist was not empathetic and seemed irritated and gave me one option to pay by check. This office does have a program to pay over 3 months with no interest you can apply for, but this was not offered to me at that time.

I am very grateful for Bright Smiles. I was in a lot of pain and they were able to get me in right away. Visser was extremely compassionate about my situation and took care of me. Help get a treatment plan together, so hopefully I can get my beautiful smile back.

The conversation I had with Vicky on my initial appointment setting call was amazing. She has the ability to connect in such a way that made my anxiety over a dreaded dentist appointment melt away. She was awesome in her professional but personable attitude. If the rest of the staff is half as good I’m sure my experience with the dentist will be just fine. Thank you again Vicki for putting me at ease.
