I had not been to the dentist in a very long time and I am scared of dentist. Just the thought of going to the dentist gets me anxious. I developed a toothache on a late Thursday night and when a got up on Friday morning I had things that had to be completed before I started to get a dentist. I finally got ahold of an office that was still open but they were with their last patient. The lady I spoke with suggested I call my PCP to get some antibiotics. I did get in to see my PCP and he gave me an antibiotic and told me I could take Ibuprofen and acetaminophen, switching them up each time. My PCP also recommend Dr. Brogan Lopez as a good dentist that was good with scaredy-cats (which I am). I called on Friday afternoon and left a message with Dr. Brogan’s office and they called me back early Monday morning. The antibiotic I was on had made the toothache bearable and so I set up an appointment for Tuesday afternoon. I completed all the necessary paperwork via the internet and texting. Tuesday afternoon came an I arrived for my appointment and was checked in with no problem and was collected by a very nice lady. I was escorted to a room and had X-rays done and then spoke with the Dr. Brogan. He laid out a couple of options and we agreed on a plan of action. All the time he was speaking to me he was trying to calm me down as I was extremely nervous. He pulled the offending tooth and I never felt anything. He had deadened my mouth so well. Saying this is just to let you know how wonderful Dr. Brogan Lopez and his staff were to me and how comfortable and supportive they were and I felt like they really cared and understood my anxiety and did everything to help me comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Brogan and his staff. Professional, Knowledgeable, and Highly Qualified.
I am actually looking forward to my next appointment and getting all my teeth taken care of and getting my smile back.

Great experience....as far as dentist visits go. I have very bad anxiety when it comes to dentists. Dr. Lopez and his staff were all great and put me at ease. The only pain I felt was the tiny pinch of the numbing shot. Will definitely be making him my primary dentist.

I've had some bad experiences in the past, but since I started getting my teeth cleaned by Angela it’s been great.i won't go to to anyone else. She is so gentle, kind and professional.

I really appreciate the timeliness and attention to detail of Dr Brogan and his staff. They are kind and friendly, and his investments in new dental technology make processes faster and more comfortable.

Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. James "Brogan" Lopez, DDS, a native of Memphis, Tennessee. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas in 2015 and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2019 before settling in the River Valley to practice. Dr. Brogan is a member of the American Dental Association, an active member of the Fort Smith Dental Association, and a graduate of Leadership Fort Smith. He is supported by a team that includes Julie Young and Angela Allen, registered dental hygienists; Lisa Berry and Vicki McKinney, dental assistants; Christie McCormack, scheduling coordinator; and Barbie Bull, office systems.
