I forgot to post a review but figured I would now! As someone who suffers from extreme debilitating anxiety, this place made me feel like the impossible was possible. I received 2 molar implants as well as cavities filled. I did opt for the medication sedation, dont remember a single thing but what I do remember are the appointments I had before and after. They have the most comforting, calming, and kind staff. Dr Jammal is by far the most amazing dentist and human being. If you have anxiety I would highly recommend not going anywhere except for here. ♡

Started here in January and already been a great experience. Very professional. Straightforward and understanding. I see why there is only 5 star reviews! I highly recommend coming here for any dental needs.

I came in for a cavity filling and I was so anxious due to previous bad experiences at other offices. Dr. Jammal made the process so easy and comfortable! I didn’t feel a single thing! It was quick and painless. Not to mention, he and his staff are extremely friendly and personable. I would recommend them to anyone for any dentistry needs!

I have been through many dentists in my lifetime and none compare to this office. Everyone here is so kind and knowledgeable, from the front desk, to Mary and then of course Dr. Jamaal! I just want to share my experience. I was unhappy with my smile for decades, I brought my concerns to 4 dentists prior to Dr. Jamaal. All the prior dentists said they didn't want to do the cosmetic work because they didn't think my smile looked bad. But it did to me. My initial visit went surprisingly well as I felt defeated at this point. Mary went over so much of what to expect and then when I got to see the doctor, I was even more pleasantly surprised. He gave me options and we talked in detail about what I wanted. I didn’t think achieving the smile of my dreams was attainable without ripping all my teeth out and starting from scratch. Love this dental office by a million!!!

The dentist, and the dental hygienist, are the most compasssionate people Ive ever had the the pleasure of working on my teeth(the office personnel are amazing too!). I have a severe anxiety of dentists, and my mouth was bad. They made sure being comfortable was their main priority. If I was becoming too anxious and the offered different methods to assure my anxiety was as low as possible. I wouldn't say I'm ever excited to go to the dentist or hygienist, but I'm not going through crippling panic attacks the days before the appointments and canceling last minute and not going, allowing my teeth to get worse. I'm able to actually walk in the door and be met with a whole team of people who seem to genuinely care that I'm comfortable and shouldn't be ashamed of my teeth. They're affordable, and accept MetLife dental. They gave me my smile back, and for that I'm forever grateful.

About Buffalo General Dentistry | Implant, Sedation & Cosmetic

Buffalo General Dentistry is an adult-focused dental office located at 4955 North Bailey Avenue, Suite 110 in Amherst, New York, serving patients in Amherst and the neighboring communities of Buffalo. The practice describes itself as an all-inclusive office and offers preventive care such as teeth cleanings and fillings, cosmetic dentistry including veneers, bonding and whitening, restorative dentistry including crowns, bridges and dentures, Invisalign, root canals, oral surgery, and sleep apnea treatment. For patients who are anxious about dental visits, the office offers nitrous oxide, mild sedation, and intravenous (IV) sedation.

Dental implants are a central part of the practice, and the website states that more than 1,000 implant procedures have been performed. Implant options described on the site include single implant crowns, implant-supported bridges, removable snap-on implant dentures (overdentures), and permanent full-arch implant dentures, referred to as All-on-4 or All-on-6, using the TeethXpress system so patients do not leave the office without teeth. The office also offers bone grafting, implant restoration, and a Teeth in a Day service in which failing teeth are removed, implants are placed, and non-removable teeth are attached in the same appointment. The practice works with most insurance providers and offers financing through CareCredit, Wells Fargo, and an in-house Smile Club Loyalty Plan. Treatment rooms have monitors so patients can view enlarged images and digital x-rays while planning care with the dentist.

Meet the Doctors

The practice is led by Dr. Daniel Jammal, DMD, who the website says has more than a decade of experience providing adult dental care in the Buffalo area. He trained at Boston University Dental School, where he received awards for scientific research that he presented at national and international dental conferences. The site notes his advanced training in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, Invisalign, and obstructive sleep apnea treatment. Dr. Jammal is a Western New York native from a family of healthcare providers, including his mother, who was also a dentist.
