Dr. Wilgus, was incredibly gentle and made sure I felt no pain during the procedure. The healing process went exactly as described: they gave me clear post-op instructions on how to heal properly. The final result looks fantastic and blends seamlessly with my natural gum line. The care and concern shown by everyone made a typically stressful procedure a very positive experience. Dr. Chang was professional, attentive, and thorough. She took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and clearly explained the steps I might take to get clearance to potentially resolve a malunion in the condylar region of my mandible. (This issue arose after what I would characterize as ineffective treatment by Dr. Siavash of Ventura, whose approach failed to properly set the fracture—resulting instead in a fusion that led to a malunion, and then a second surgery by Dr Fahradyan at VCMC that also seems inadequate.) Dr. Chang’s thoughtful guidance and clinical insight were a welcome contrast, and I left the consultation feeling informed and empowered.

It's so refreshing to hear about a dental surgeon who combines skill with such a personal touch, especially before your own visit. Everything I was told and read about Dr. Richard Hunter was absolutely true, and certainly not an exaggeration. Dr. Hunter is incredibly skilled and highly professional, yet he also makes you feel at ease throughout the entire surgery. He truly enjoys his work and cares for his patients, which is rare to find. I can't praise him and his team enough for providing such a great experience. Surgery is never something anyone looks forward to, but he made mine memorable. The procedure was thoroughly explained, painless, and we even had a great conversation in between—though, of course, I wasn’t speaking too much! My recovery was quick and easy, and he made sure to personally follow up, which really shows his commitment to patient care and his profession. I can’t recommend Dr. Hunter enough. If you're looking for an oral surgeon, stop searching and see him—you won’t regret it!"

I was referred to Dr. Hunter after experiencing a failed implant procedure from another dentist. Physically, I was in poor condition, and emotionally, I was shaken from the trauma of that experience. Since it involved my front tooth, I was terrified—not only that a new implant might not be possible, but also that I’d be left with a permanent aesthetic issue. From the start, Dr. Hunter was calm, reassuring, and confident. Thanks to his exceptional skill and expertise, he was able to successfully redo the implant and perform gum grafting to enhance the appearance. I truly believe that without his level of care and precision, I wouldn’t have been able to undergo another implant—let alone one that looks this natural and seamless. I also want to give a heartfelt shout-out to the front office team. Their positive energy and warmth made a world of difference during such a stressful time. I’m deeply grateful for Dr. Hunter and his entire staff.
