I have dental anxiety, everything about being at the dentist gives me anxiety but this was def a diff experience for me which makes it easy to complete all my treatments.

I can’t say enough good things about this dental office! From the moment you walk in, the front desk staff makes you feel welcome and at ease. The hygienists are gentle, thorough, and always take time to explain what they’re doing. Dr. Katherine Thimmesch is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and never makes you feel rushed. They genuinely care about their patients and it shows. Whether it’s a routine cleaning or a more involved procedure, I always feel like I’m in great hands. Highly recommend!

Camellia Dental is a cosmetic and general dentistry practice at 1101 Camellia Boulevard in Lafayette, Louisiana. The practice describes its focus as world-class cosmetic and general dentistry delivered in a caring and gentle environment, and its services include porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns, one-visit crowns, tooth bonding, Zoom whitening, Invisalign, dental bridges, white fillings, children's dentistry, emergency care, sleep apnea treatment, oral cancer screenings, and full-mouth reconstruction. Dental implants are offered as one of the practice's restorative options.
For patients missing teeth, Camellia Dental explains that a dental implant consists of a root form placed in the jaw by a surgeon, with a false tooth then placed over it, and the practice notes that a single implant avoids trimming down healthy neighboring teeth for a bridge. For patients with no natural teeth, the office offers removable full dentures as well as implant-supported dentures, and invites patients to call to discuss their options. The practice also offers two levels of dental sedation, including nitrous oxide, for patients with dental anxiety. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Fridays.
Camellia Dental's doctors are Dr. Mike Malone, DDS, AAACD, FAGD, an Accredited Member and Past President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a graduate of the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education; Dr. Emily Foreman, DDS, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry who has been voted Times of Acadiana Best Dentist several times; and Dr. Katherine Thimmesch, DDS, an honors graduate of the LSU School of Dentistry who completed the LSU Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.
