I have been working in the dental field for 40 years. This is by far the most incredible office that I have ever been in. From the initial reach out I made to the office the call team was amazing. I entered the beautiful office for my consultation and was immediately greeted with smiling faces like I had been there before. From there , an assistant went through some back ground information and discussed the goals for my visit and took photos and X-rays. When Dr.Forbes came in he was so friendly and made me feel right at home. He did a thorough exam . We then went into a consultation room to review my photos and discussed treatment. I felt like he spent the right amount of time and came up with a great plan for my smile. I’m so excited to be working with this incredible office and I will highly recommend them to others for their dental needs. I love this office !!

I used to dread going to the dentist. But I have been seeing Dr Forbes and his amazing team (Charles , Lisa and Mollie) for a few years now. I have always felt at ease and will never consider going anywhere else. This team truly cares, and it shows.

Had a great experience at capital dental design. The office is so pretty and the staff were all really nice. Charles walked through all my financial questions with me until I understood everything clearly. Definitely recommend (:

I recently came in for a consultation and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The office was clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. It was clear that they genuinely cared about my well-being. Dr. Forbes was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. This was by far the best initial experience I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office. For the first time, I’m actually looking forward to my future dental visits!

Capital Dental Design is a general, cosmetic, and restorative dental practice located at 6946 Forest Avenue, Suite 205, in Richmond, Virginia, serving patients in Richmond's West End and the surrounding area. For patients considering dental implants, the practice offers a full range of tooth replacement options, including single dental implants and implant restoration, All-on-4 dental implants, full mouth dental implants, implant supported bridges, implant supported dentures, and full and partial dentures. Supporting procedures such as dental bone grafting, socket preservation, gum grafting, tooth extraction, oral surgery, and sedation dentistry are also available, so much of the implant process can be planned and coordinated in one office.
This is a single dentist practice, which means patients see the same doctor at every visit rather than rotating providers. The office emphasizes taking time to explain treatment options in plain terms and uses Digital Smile Design planning to map out results before treatment begins. Meet the Doctors
Capital Dental Design is led by Dr. Graham Forbes, Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Forbes earned his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia, and completed a two year general practice residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he served as chief resident of the Department of Dentistry in his second year. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Seattle Study Club. A Richmond native, Dr. Forbes has also personally experienced many dental procedures himself, including bone grafting and a dental implant, which shapes his patient centered approach to care.
