I came here to get my wisdom teeth removed and after being told I wouldn’t be receiving an IV I called the office twice expressing my concerns. I was prescribed Triazolam instead and was told it would knock me out the same as an IV would. I took the prescription as directed and came to the office to get my wisdom teeth removed. I was sat in the chair and given over 10 shots in my mouth to numb my gums and experienced excruciating pain. After the shots I was told, not by doctor Jeanny Nguyen, that I should have received an IV. I said i called the office twice telling them I would need an IV. It was then recommended to me to reschedule. I told them to find me an office that would be able to remove my teeth that day because I took off two days of work for this procedure and it is not my fault that they did not take my concerns seriously. I was referred to an oral surgeon at 1112 Savannah Hwy where I had an exceptional experience with zero issues and they removed my teeth the same day.

I knew from the moment I walked in that this place was different. I was told by my dentist that I was probably going to lose a tooth but he wanted to send me to CP West Ashley to be sure. The moment I met Dr Krell I knew right away that everything was going to be fine. Call it intuition, call it energy, call it what you want. Something inside me told me that they could help. She was very honest from the start and told me what was involved. I kept pressing her to try to save the tooth at all costs and I understood the risks. That being said, she dug in (pun intended) fixed the issue and hopefully became a believer in the power of faith and positivity. Dr Krell, Amanda, you are both amazing, thank you.

I was recently referred to Dr. Krell for a consultation and "gum-flap" proceedure which she skillfully performed in her office. I give Dr. Krell and her staff the highest praise possible. She spent a great amount of time with me explaining the pros and cons of the procedure and I felt zero pressure. Her work was immaculate, solved my problem and the follow up was heartfelt and reassuring. I would recommend Dr. Krell and the staff at CP-West Ashley to anyone in need of periodontics...including my family and friends. Thanks, Dr. Krell!
