My daughter’s orthodontist referred us here to have 4 baby teeth removed. It was comforting they had an anesthesia team that is experienced in managing children. Dr. Rick Kapitan and his team were great taking care of her throughout the process.

I was very nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed, but Dr. Brian Farrell made the entire experience smooth and reassuring, from the initial consultation through the procedure (which was about 2 months ago). Their team is efficient and I truly felt cared for throughout. Ellie’s follow up afterward was so sweet. Prescriptions were called in promptly, and I was given clear, detailed aftercare instructions. So glad it’s done. Highly recommend them!

From the moment we got the call to schedule my daughter’s appointment to the minute we left, I can’t say enough good things about the experience with CCOFS! Dr. Kapitan is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I am excited to have him as part of the care team for my daughter. He explained everything that needs to happen, what to expect and was very thorough and reassuring. He is everything a parent of a cleft child could ask for and more! I would recommend anyone to him and his team! I have been trying to find the right person to help her with her issues for months and no one else felt comfortable enough to handle her situation until now. I look forward to having Dr. Kapitan help her through this part of her journey!

I came in this morning in extreme pain, referred from my endodontist's office, and they got me in same day. From the consultation through the procedure, Dr. Christopher Abernathy was open, honest, and genuinely listened to me. He walked me through everything, answered all my questions, and acknowledged my pain rather than pushing through it. I'll be honest — I don't trust just anyone to touch my teeth. It takes a lot of trust to let another human being remove part of your body. Dr. Abernathy earned that trust today. One thing worth noting for anyone on the fence about sedation — when your oral surgeon recommends anesthesia, take it seriously. With an active infection, the numbing doesn't always work the way it should, and we experienced exactly that today. Dr. Abernathy was patient, kept working to find the right spot, and never gave up. The procedure was successful because of his persistence and skill. I also want to mention Jasmine, who was wonderful as well. The whole team made an incredibly stressful situation feel manageable. Given everything I was dealing with walking in, this was an exceptional experience. Highly recommend Dr. Abernathy and the team at Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery.

I was seen today by Dr. Abernathy. He listened to my concerns, offered several options as to what can be done and formulated an affordable treatment plan for me. He answered all of my questions, assuaged fears and his overall presence calmed me. The office is beautiful, comfortable and the office staff are friendly, professional and warm. 10/10 highly recommend.
