The staff was prompt, and courteous. The atmosphere in the entire office was superb. Doc had a fantastic manner and explained everything thoroughly. While it's never under the best circumstances that one would need oral surgery, this group makes the experience less daunting.

Update: After seeing my 2-star review the local office did reach out to me and helped me get a final resolution from the corporate office. The person I spoke to was kind and sympathetic to my concerns. It still took a few calls and emails for the refund to be issued so a few weeks after my review and 10 months after her procedure, I finally have resolve. Again, the doctor and office staff were great but know that you will have to be the squeaky wheel afterwards and do some of your own leg work with the insurance companies to get any refund you are owed.
Original Post: My daughter's procedure went great and she had minimal recovery pain. The team in the office was great but working with the billing team and insurance companies afterward has turned into an on-going saga that has taken hours of my time over a 10-month period and it still isn't resolved. This is a large network of oral surgeons with a central billing office that is out-of-state. You don't get one person handling your case all the way through and the people you can talk to are not the people filing the claims with the insurance company so you get nowhere when talking to the billing folks. The claims people filed things wrong and haven't followed up to fix it. I am having to figure it out and fax explanation of benefits to the insurance companies myself when this is the job of the claims team at Carolina Center for Oral & Facial Surgery. I have made at least 7 phone calls in the past 2 months alone and still don't know when this will be resolved. Meanwhile I am owed some amount of refund which they hang on to until all of it is sorted out.

The best experience! I was having super painful wisdom tooth pain and this office got me in ASAP for my consultation and then my actual extraction (all 4) appointment. Brittany was amazing with helping me figure out insurance/finances part. It was definitely a run around (not on their part)
Dr. Bhatt was great and definitely helped my nervousness out on consultation day and procedure day. He was super calming and straightforward with the plan. Maddie and Malika were awesome and super sweet!! Told me everything they were doing, gave post-op info, made me comfortable, played music and gave me compliments! LOL
Dr. Bhatt came to my mom’s car to explain everything and Maddie called later in the day to check on me.
I would most definitely recommend this office to anyone that’s looking for an oral surgeon!

Pleasant experience. Staff was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Oral surgeon was very kind and explained each detail of the visit from beginning to end with considerable knowledge and instructions!
However I wish there were more financial options with referrals! Some individuals who live alone and on a strict budget have a hard time of having financial access to there primary Dentist and a unexpected referral to an Oral surgeon!

My 13 year old son needed an exam and was very nervous! This office was so kind and supportive of his needs. His assistant Taylor made him laugh and forget that we were in a dental office. Dr Bhatt was very quick and reassuring. We already scheduled for our surgery where they could accommodate us within the week! I recommend to anyone young or old.
