I had a very good experience from consultation Tuesday to my extraction today. I came in pretty nervous because of a failed attempt at a root canal elsewhere and everyone in office from reception to Dr Blumer, assistants and finance, was very friendly and helpful, putting me at ease. I opted for sedation due to my anxiety and it was quick and painless and I especially appreciated Paulette who was very gentle and kind while waiting for a vein to take.
While I am hopeful to not come back too soon haha, I would most definitely return for future needs. Thank you!

As awesome as wisdom teeth extractions can get! Lovely staff, treatment went well, our patient is home and healing - comfortable and hardly even any swelling!! We are thankful for such a smooth experience.

Absolutely loved the hospitality of the staff and Dr. The Dentist went above and beyond to treat me without pulling a tooth. He said teeth was in good shape. Most dentist probably would have just pulled a tooth but he did a great examination on my mouth and told me what the problem was. Thank you to you all.

Carolina Center for Oral and facial surgery misrepresented the initial consultation. I was assured beforehand that they would verify my health insurance and that the consultation would be free. After the appointment, when I returned to the front desk, I was quoted a fee of $3,500 to extract a single tooth and was told my insurance would cover only $86 of that amount. I subsequently went to another orthopedic surgeon in Greer, SC over off brushy Creek who was amazing to have my tooth Extracted , and they charged only $46, which included X-rays after insurance. Carolina Center for Oral and facial surgery kept calling wanted me to schedule the procedure then they learned that I’ve already had the tooth removed and that’s when they started billing me for the x-rays and tell me my insurance will not cover any of it. They turned me over to collection agency and continue to harass me. Would not use this business. Very misleading.

Dr. Blumer and his team took very good care of me. They gave me all the information I needed to prepare me for surgery. They made me feel very comfortable and even let me wait 5 minutes for my mom to be there with me! Thanks so much (; I’m still on the first day so my lip is still numb. Hahahaha

About Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery
Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery's Spartanburg Westside office provides a full range of oral and maxillofacial care, including dental implants and wisdom teeth removal. For patients missing one or more teeth, the practice offers single tooth implants as well as full arch options, sometimes called all on 4, which use a series of implants to anchor a full set of replacement teeth in the upper or lower jaw. The practice describes implants as a way to rebuild a smile so it looks, feels, and functions like natural teeth.
The office is equipped with in-house anesthesia services and operates within an accredited surgical center, so procedures can be completed on site rather than requiring a hospital visit. Patients from Spartanburg and nearby communities such as Arcadia, Fairforest, and Duncan are seen here, and the team works to explain treatment options and costs, including insurance and financing arrangements, before moving forward with care. The practice states that its team combines surgical training with a patient centered approach throughout the treatment process.
