I had such a great experience with Dr. Badger and the team at Legacy yesterday! I really appreciated how Dr. Badger took the time to listen to my concerns and explain my options in such a simple, kind, and understandable way.
Vanessa was wonderful as well, walking me through the treatment and post-op process and handling all the insurance and financial details.
It’s not often you feel like a team truly has the time to listen, answer questions, and address your concerns. So appreciated! What a great group!!

I developed a receding gum on one of my lower teeth. My regular dentist recommended I see a periodontist. I met with Dr. Erik Badger at Cassity Implants & Periodontics at their Kaysville office in June of 2025 for a consultation who recommended a skin graft, a $2400 procedure not covered by insurance. I decided to go ahead with it but needed a few months to come up with the money. I had the graft done yesterday, nine months after my initial consultation. After I was all drugged up for the procedure, I was asked for the $2400 payment. Imagine my delight this morning to discover on the receipt a $73 credit card service charge. I’m mostly retired. These guys probably make 20 times what I do. I get that they don’t want to cover credit card fees. I don’t blame them for that. But WHY would they assume patients don’t mind paying that? I’m pissed no one told me payment would be due the day of the procedure and no one told me I would be expected to pay the fee for using my credit card. Had I been told this ahead of time, I would have been grateful for the information and brought cash with me. The doctor was friendly and professional as was all the staff I interacted with. But to completely ignore this little detail feels more like greed than caring.
UPDATE: I’m changing my rating to five stars. The day after surgery, Dr. Badger texted to see how I was doing. That kind of prompt follow up and personable service isn’t as common these days as it should be so I was impressed. I told him I was doing well. Relatively little pain. I mentioned about the $73 credit card service fee that I hadn’t been told about ahead of time. Five minutes after I responded to him I got a call from his office and arrangements were made to make it right. Again, that kind of prompt professional service is refreshing. Now, three days post-op, my mouth seems to be healing well and Dr. Badger reached out again to see how things were going and to see if there was anything they could do to help. Great work. Great service. Kudos to Dr. Badger and his team.

I cannot recommend Dr. Cassity and his incredible team highly enough. I came to the office with a painful, urgent tooth issue that required an immediate extraction and a dental implant. From the moment I arrived, the level of professionalism and efficiency was unmatched.
They were able to see me the exact same day I was referred. Within just hours of walking through the door, I was in the chair getting a comprehensive scan and receiving a step-by-step treatment plan. I was in pain and anxious, but their quick action and calm expertise completely put me at ease. Thank you to the doctor and the entire staff for taking such phenomenal care of me!

Dr Cassity is the ONLY Oral Surgeon I will go to. He did my 1st sinus lift & bone grafting ( right side ) & now I'm having him do my left side. I went to another Oral Surgeon years ago & it was the worst experience ever. So Professionalism matters & I'm glad to have the best of the best see me through another procedure. The staff ( Camie ) has went out of their way to help me & it's deeply appreciated. Thank you so much !!!

I had an amazing experience with Cassity and Legacy Implants and Periodontics Kaysville. They got me in on very short notice to do an exam on a broken and infected tooth. Then they made time to extract the tooth the same day. I was in their office for barely over an hour. I will definitely be going back when it’s time to get the implant done. Thank you Cassity and Legacy for the exceptional experience.
