My first experience with Dr. Pate and his staff has been with an emergency root canal. Not only did they get me in super quickly, they are very professional and welcoming. Dr. Pate did a fantastic job, with no discomfort. His dental assistant made sure I was very comfortable, and walked me through every step, as I had never had to have work like this done before. Highly suggest the office and entire staff.

This office is clean, easy to get to and the staff are very friendly. I was out on referral from my primary dentist to seek out someone who could do a bridge. I specifically chose to come here because of the good reviews online.
While unfortunately I will not be having a bridge completed here due to cost (around $3k after insurance) my visit was informative, and allowed for me to get a better understanding of my options.

Dr. Pate is an excellent dentist. The procedure took time and a lot of detailed work, but Dr. Pate and his staff were thorough, patient, and did a great job. I’ve been at his practice for years. I trust their service. Everyone there is kind and do great work..

Although my visit was shrouded by the pain of my toothache, my visit was very pleasant. Dr Pate wasn’t available that day, but Dr Yeoman was and I found him to be very pleasant, comforting and knowledgeable.Dr. Yeoman’s assistant was also very sweet, comforting and helpful. I was quite satisfied.

I have an extreme dentist phobia. Dr. Yeoman and his assistant cured that! He talked to me, explained everything, and made me comfortable enough to have my bad tooth pulled. I have never been treated with more care and concern for my well-being! The extraction was painless and I have found my forever Doctor! Thanks again to Dr. Yeoman and your sweet assistant!

About Catawba Valley Dental: Pate Raymond G Dmd,pa
Catawba Valley Dental is a family dental practice at 2315 Catawba Valley Boulevard in Hickory, North Carolina. Dr. Raymond Pate founded the practice in September 2001, and the office notes that nearly all of the same staff members have been with it from the start, so patients tend to see familiar faces visit after visit. The practice offers dental implants alongside a broad range of general, cosmetic, and restorative care, including checkups, cleanings and fillings, crowns and bridges, root canals, wisdom teeth removal, surgical extractions, gum surgery, dentures and partial dentures, whitening, veneers, Invisalign, and emergency dental services. The practice says it performs nearly all procedures, including dental surgery and complex crown work, in its own office rather than referring patients elsewhere.
For patients missing one or more teeth, the practice describes dental implants as consisting of an implant that bonds to the jawbone, an abutment, and a crown, and explains that implants can replace individual teeth, support bridges for multiple teeth, or be used together with dentures. Dr. Pate has been providing dental implants to patients in the Catawba Valley area since the early 2000s, and the office also lists restoring existing dental implants among its services. Catawba Valley Dental works with most insurance plans, is in network with United Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield, and offers CareCredit and Cherry financing. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:15 am to 5:00 pm, closing for lunch from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and invites prospective implant patients to call for a consultation.
