Dr. Katy is bar far one of the most kind, considerate, compassionate, and thorough dentists I have met. Our girls were going to Cedar Valley Pediatrics but I wasn’t pleased. So, I switched to Dr. Katy because I’d seen good reviews. I could not be happier we made that transition! Our oldest, who is 6, has had a lot of problems and ended up needing 2 fillings, a baby root canal, and a tooth pulled all within the course of about 3 months. Dr. Katy has made each of those experiences so positive for our daughter. She doesn’t fear the shot, and in fact, looks forward to the bubble gum nose she gets with the laughing gas. I’ve called the office so many times in the past months because we kept having tooth problems - Dr. Katy even filled a prescription for us while we were in Florida on vacation to help treat tooth pain until we got home and could have the tooth pulled. She really does go above and beyond and it’s obvious she sincerely cares for her patients. I 100% recommend Dr. Katy and her staff!

Best experience i have ever had at a dental office. Dr Katy was excellent. The whole staff was nice and friendly. A special thanks to Angie for recommending and getting me in so fast. Five stars for the entire staff. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist.

Definitely the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office in my entire life!! I have always feared going to the dentist for every visit in my life due to the pain you go through up until I started going to Cedar Brook. Katy and her staff make the experience fun and most important PAIN FREE!!! The very best and the staff is truly fun and friendly and when you can have fun at a dentist office, that should say it all.

We are extremely happy with our experiences at Nemmers & Petrie Family Dental practice! The staff make us feel welcome from the moment we walk through the door. We've been especially impressed with Dr. Nemmers and Dr. Petrie and their work with our children. My children have enjoyed every trip there. My family has had such a great experience with Dr. Petrie and all of her staff! They are so friendly and compassionate to us and our four children. Our kids no longer fear going to the dentist! Whether we are having a routine check up or some kind of procedure done I can count on the staff to make us all feel comfortable and calm!

The practice grew out of Hennessey Family Dentistry, which Dr. Anne Hennessey purchased in 1995 and moved to its current building in 2003, and it later merged with Dr. Jamie Petrie's practice. Dr. Clapham earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2009 and joined the practice that July; she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association and the Waterloo District Association, where she most recently served as President. Dr. Petrie, a Cedar Falls native, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2008 and returned to Cedar Falls in 2014 before merging her practice into Cedar Brook Dental Group; she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association and the Waterloo District Association. Dr. Hennessey earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1993, purchased the Cedar Falls practice in 1995, served 12 years on the Board of Delta Dental of Iowa, and is one of the team dentists for the University of Northern Iowa Panthers.
