AMAZING STAFF!! I had never been put to sleep or had any type of surgery - not even a tooth pulled before and I had to go have all 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday. From the moment I got there until I left I was treated so compassionately. I was in the midst of a full blown panic attack and the staff was so kind and patient with me. They did anything they could to accommodate me - giving me my IV early and pushing some anxiety meds, lights off in the consultation room, even the anesthesiologist was fanning me with her clipboard as I was dripping in sweat. I know it wasn’t their first time but it was mine and they made it such a. I’ve experience for me. Once I woke up the ladies were so kind, talking to me and one even showed me her beautiful tabby cat (I was telling them how much I missed mine lol) Anyway, this place was AMAZING!!! Thank you so much COFIS for making such a scary experience so much less scary for me. Thanks for removing my wisdom teeth Doctor Miller!

COFIS has taken great care of my family for more than 10 years. Two children had great care with wisdom teeth extractions, and I recently had to have an extraction and then implant. Dr. Spann is an excellent practitioner, and I feel confident the other doctors are too. The staff has always been professional and kind and knowledgeable.

My mom had to have an infected tooth pulled, her dentist recommended we come see Dr. Jones because he thought the tooth was going to crumble when they tried to remove it. Dr. Jones was so gentle and did such great work within just minutes the tooth came out in one piece. My mom was so nervous going in but she never had any pain or any issue at all! I highly recommend Dr.Jones, he and the staff were absolutely amazing through out the whole process!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Jones and all the staff at COFIS! My 16 year old son had all of his wisdom teeth extracted and they made the entire process so easy for me as a parent and comfortable/pain-free for him as the patient. They are knowledgeable and compassionate. They have even called to check on how my son is doing after his extraction and I appreciate that extra level of care and dedication. I would not hesitate to use their services again in the future or recommend them to others. I just wish I would have found them sooner!

This was my second time seeing Dr Megison. A year and a half ago, he did a procedure to try to save a tooth that had a root canal but the root canal hadn’t done what it was supposed to. There was a 50/50 chance that surgery could save the tooth. It didn’t help, so I went back to him for an extraction. Both times, he was very knowledgeable and informative and I did t have to wait a long time to see him between the day i called to schedule the appointment and the day of my visit as well as the office visit and the surgery. Both times, I was in and out relatively quickly. The staff are also very friendly and helpful for the most part. My only complaint is, I was told at my consult I would be getting an antibiotic after the surgery. I called my pharmacy on the way home from the office to ask if it was received and it hadn’t been. We called the pharmacy again and they still didn’t have the prescription. I called the office Friday afternoon, which ended up being just before the office closed, leaving a message asking if I was supposed to receive an antibiotic. It’s now Tuesday evening and I have yet to receive a call back regarding that. That’s the only reason they are not getting a full 5 stars.

Center for Oral, Facial, and Implant Surgery (COFIS) is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located at 6015 Shallowford Road in Chattanooga, Tennessee, serving patients throughout the Chattanooga area as well as nearby communities in Tennessee and Georgia. The practice offers a full range of dental implant care, including single-tooth implants and full-arch replacements, along with bone grafting, sinus lifts, and other procedures that prepare the jaw for a strong, lasting implant foundation. The surgical team includes several board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons who each completed hospital-based surgical training beyond dental school.
