Dr. Trotter and the staff were great and friendly. He’s confident in what he does and has a great attitude. They called and checked on me a few hours after the procedure.

My husband was referred by our regular dentist to Dr.Trotter for a severe tooth abscess infection. The staff was nothing but thorough and kind through the whole process. We cannot say enough about how excellent Dr.Trotter was at being very thorough during my husband's surgery and making sure he had the best all around care available to get this infection gone before it could become a really major problem. We have definitely found our oral surgeon for any major issues in the future if necessary. Thanks so much

Dr Kritzas is professional, kind and explains things very well, which made my procedure so much less stressful.

About Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral surgery practice serving the Central Savannah River Area, with an office at 1907 Pawnee Street in Aiken, South Carolina, and additional locations in North Augusta, South Carolina, and Evans and Grovetown, Georgia. The practice focuses on dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom teeth removal, jaw surgery, facial trauma, and tooth extractions. For patients considering implants, the practice's services include implant placement, options for replacing all upper or lower teeth, implant supported overdentures, and bone grafting procedures such as sinus lifts, ridge augmentation, and socket preservation to prepare the jaw for implants. The practice also offers 3D imaging.

The practice explains that oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training after dental school, and its surgeons practice a full scope of oral surgery ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery, including techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention. The surgical staff are described as certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants trained in assisting with intravenous sedation and outpatient general anesthesia, with a registered nurse on staff to assist in surgery. Office hours at all locations are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the practice states it proudly serves Aiken and North Augusta in South Carolina as well as Evans, Augusta, and Grovetown in Georgia.
