Scheduled for a root canal (yay) by my dentist, and saw Dr Bonavilla for the procedure. Experience was great, for a root canal…😁. Very thorough, explained what was being done, and was just overall a great experience. Entire procedure was done in 45 minutes. Cannot recommend enough!

I had a great experience with Central Carolina Endodontics in Orangeburg. They were able to get me seen and treated 1 day after the referral was made from my dentist. I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Bonnavilla and his staff were EXCELLENT!!! He numbed me very good and I didn’t even feel any pain! Every member of the office staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. So very thankful that we have this practice and specialty available to us in Orangeburg!! Will definitely recommend them to family/friends in the future! Thanks again Dr. Bonnavilla for the great care that I received! ❤️

What a breathe of fresh air at Central Carolina Endodontics compared to the place I'd been to in Summerville! Thank You! I had an emergency situation with a possible root canal develop late the night before.(of course) I didn't know where to turn the next morning (Fri.), but knew I needed a Dr. asap to give me an antibiotic and advice with my situation so whatever it was it didnt get worse over the weekend. A friend works at one of Central Carolina offices. I called them that morning. A warm friendly voice answered and patiently listened to my immediate problem. Then she said, "Just hold on. We'll get you some help today." She told me when to come in, they'd be waiting for me! It was worth the 2 hr. one-way drive! I walked into a warm, friendly atmosphere. The receptionist smiled and guessed who I was when I walked in and had everything ready to get me started. In a matter of minutes I was greeted by another friendly, smiling face and listening technician. The Dr. was also very attentive, and explained what the painful problem was that had started 12 hr. earlier. Best of all, she explained I had options to address the source of the problem. When was the last time you had any type of Dr. sit, listen and talk with you, rather than at you about a medical issue? Refreshing! 😀 I left with understanding of what was going on, answers to my questions, options to correct the issue, a prescription to address the immediate problem that was waiting for me when I got back to my hometown, and an appointment Monday at the closest Central Carolina office! Thank You Central Carolina Endodontics, for providing me help and knowledge in an emergency situation with a warm, friendly and caring attitude! You now have a New Patient, and I highly recommend you to others!

Central Carolina Endodontics was wonderful experience from start to end.... The Orangeburg staff and Dr.Mathys was great. I felt no pain and this was my first root canal. All my questions was answered by his assistant prior to him coming in to do a exam. Even tho I had a referral slip from my general dentist, Dr.Mathys still did his own test to double check. Dr.Mathys and his assistant worked great together and I enjoyed listening to the conversation. I would recommend this practice to anybody that needs a root canal.

The staff was very friendly and the office has a very relaxing atmosphere. The doctor is also very nice and made sure to get my mouth good and numb for the root canal. They did a great job!
