I can't believe I've never given a review on my awesome dentist whom I've been seeing now for almost 30 years!! First of all he is hilarious, always gentle (I started going to him because he called himself Dr Howard the Dentist for Cowards). He's patient, kind, accurate, and has accomodated all my "emergencies," squeezing me in whenever and however he could. He has made going to the dentist fun (ok, kinda fun)! The only downside to being as awesome as he is, is he can't take new patients 😭 but he does have amazing associates that can!!! I highly recommend!!!

Went for jaw pain. They said I needed my wisdom teeth out. Said I could get surgery at a surgery center or do it at a dentist office. I said I'll go to a surgery center. Dr. Louis J. Traci said they could just do it here, if I didn't want to go to a surgery center. So I said yes. They gave me antibiotics and scheduled a date. I had no clue what to expect, they didn't tell me anything so I didn't expect anything. Day of I lie on the table was given easily 15+ shots of some numbing agent and with out anything else or many words exchange Dr. Traci began drilling in my mouth with such force I had to hold onto the table. It didn't take too long to get the first tooth out but I was then told the bottom teeth take longer. After three teeth were removed he started on my fourth. I was genuinely exhausted from my own efforts and when he started drilling I waved him off because I could feel it. After two more rounds of shots I could still feel so he said we'd have to reschedule. I was given no prescriptions A hygienist told me to take acetaminophen then four hours later take ibuprofen and keep doing that and it would be like having Oxy. I immediately knew that was a lie or placebo. I was in unbelievable pain for days. I called as I was told to and said the pain was intense and Dr. Traci clearly didn't care and asked about the acetaminophen and ibuprofen which I was talking but I simply wasn't enough. I didn't go back to the last tooth. Evil bad people. Stay away

I am pretty upset. I have held this in for a while but i will make sure to cancel mine and my husbands next appt. We have had nothing but trouble since our last cleaning. Where we thought the lady was doing a thorough job, a week later i had a tooth break. Mind you this was a six month cleaning i was told there had been absolutely no changes to my teeth since the last visit. So i feel like it was on purpose to force me to come back for a root canal. Now instead of going back for one root canal that I already needed I would need to have to have two. Mind you they talked us into a filling for my husband on day one of us going there. Hubby has had nothing but teeth sensitivity since our last appt. We left that office with red swollen gums. I asked about a quote for a retainer and the impressions, never got one to this day. We are going elsewhere. I don't like feeling like I'm at an auto shop being suggested things we havent asked for. I am not a piggybank. The DA and office staff is very nice though. That is all.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. Don't go to this dentist. They do not care about their patient. Came in for tooth pain. Assistant did xray and doctor come in blow air into my gum for 2 second at full blast and ask if it hurt. Obviously it hurt and say I have root canal and send me off to specialist that they seem to have been sending many of their customer to. dentist was in the room for less than 5 minutes. Get quoted for 1 tooth root canal and crown for $5k. The xray and quick air spray will cost you $180. Went to a different dentist for second option they say tooth can be save with fillings and cost $150 for consulate and xray.

Today I had the most excellent experience at Central Virginia Dental Dentistry. I came in with severe tooth pain that I had been dealing with for weeks, and after visiting other places where the service was poor and the pricing felt unreasonable, I was truly relieved to find this office. They welcomed me warmly, helped me quickly, and treated me with real professionalism. Today I was seen by Dr. Nab (Dr. Nabizadeh), and to be super honest, it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. He was not only highly skilled, but also kind, patient, attentive, and respectful. He explained my X-rays clearly, answered all of my questions in detail, and made sure I fully understood what was going on before moving forward with treatment. What stood out most was how genuinely caring he was. He asked thoughtful questions, listened closely when I shared a bit of my story, and made it clear that he truly prioritizes his patients’ comfort and well-being, not just the procedure. That level of compassion helped me feel relieved knowing that I was in good hands. He treated a large cavity that was really close to a nerve with a filling, the process was quick and completely painless, and the relief was immediate. I’m very grateful for his professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend this office, and I will definitely return and request Dr. Nab again.
