I've been treated at Central WA Oral twice and so has another family member per my recommendation. To keep this short and sweet... I have experienced so much trauma and pain with the dental industry my entire life, to put it lightly. The wide range of emotions that go along with my dental issues are crippling and usually met with embrassment, being degraded and some times inhuman when it comes to dental professionals and seeking help. This makes me emotional just writing this review but the staff and doctors at CWO deserve to be recognized for their professionalism. I was treated like a patient should be treated, with kindness, dignity and respect. Their process of intake and instructions is thorough and diligent, so there's never any surprises. I was never made to feel bad, looked down upon or less than when dealing with anyone in that building and that's huge for this industry...... And I feel SAFE when I'm there not scared, because of how they interact and treat me.... That's ALL staff included. Bedside manner has gone by the waste side as our world becomes more digital everyday... But this team is a solid group of individuals still showing empathy, compassion, strong work ethic and treating their patients like they should be treated... humans... not just income. They deserve 100 stars and I HIGHLY recommend their services, I'll def be back and I'll keep spreading the good word about CWO.

I had an outstanding experience during my initial consultation at Central Washington Oral and Facial Surgery. After a bit of paperwork, I was brought back right away to begin the consultation. The discussion about the steps & phases involved in my dental implant was thorough, clear, and genuinely helpful.
After the 3D x‑ray, Dr. McDonald walked me through the specific area where the implant will be placed. The visual images and step‑by‑step explanation made the entire process easy to understand. I felt that Dr. McDonald and his team did an excellent job explaining why the implant is important and what to expect at each phase.
Before leaving, I reviewed the full cost estimate and the timeline again with the team that handle the insurance, which should take about 10 months from start to finish. Once I got home and looked over everything again, I felt confident moving forward and scheduled my first phase—the tooth removal and bone graph.
I am completely confident in Dr. McDonald and his team at Central Washington Oral and Facial Surgery. Their professionalism, clarity, and care made a strong impression. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing people. Very compassionate and gentle. My 14 year old was made very comfortable before going into surgery and they made sure I understood very well at home care. The Dr himself even called the same evening to check on my son and asked if I had any questions. Hands down a bad thing turned into a great experience.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled just recently and as an adult I heard nothing but horror stories. I experienced none of those things. Dr McDonald and his whole team were great to work with. They gave me time to answer all questions and were transparent about my charges. I wish I would have received instructions on how to care for myself post op in advance so I could be prepared. They gave my boyfriend/driver instruction which is fine but I needed to know and if I had instructions before hand I could have asked last minute questions I had so that I could feel more prepared to care for myself going into a weekend. That’s just how I learn though. I need time to process information and I don’t do well getting taught the same day of receiving sedation. But besides that my Exparel injection was definitely worth it. I haven’t had to take any narcotics or hardly any OTC meds. Some swelling but that was to be expected. Overall I can’t recommend Dr McDonald and his team enough. They made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process.

I had double jaw surgery with Dr. McDonald, which included him expanding the top part of my mouth. I truly can't say enough good things about him.
Going into it, I was pretty nervous—especially being 40 years old—but he completely put me at ease. He took the time to patiently answer all my questions and made me feel comfortable every step of the way.
Dr. McDonald did an excellent job on my face; the results are amazing! But what really stands out is his genuine care. You can tell he's truly invested in your well-being and really cares about your recovery.
If you need a highly skilled surgeon who specializes in complex procedures like this and is also compassionate and dedicated to making sure you feel supported, Dr. McDonald is definitely the one to choose.
