I hope the doctors and nurses performing surgery have better customer service than their front desk. I called yesterday and I felt like once receptionist found out the appointment I was trying to make was for someone with MA, she didn't seem to have the time of day to answer my questions. She talked to me like I was extremely unintelligent, her responses made it seem like the necessary procedures were extremely out of reach and I was asking the world. We need wisdom teeth pulled along with all other teeth pulled - I have to assume that's a fairly routine procedure in the office. She made me feel like I shouldn't even bother because there are too many hoops to jump through and it takes a very long time. Regardless of the steps it takes, referrals, prior authorizations, etc., this procedure is necessary for this patient. Our dentist in Alex (Dental Health Associates) is incredible and has NEVER made me feel like I was asking stupid questions or that I was wasting their time. I'll remember the way she handled our phone conversation and hope to see an improvement moving forward. I've worked in customer service my entire life and it would've been appreciated if she would've just said, "Before we can make an appointment to see this patient, there are a few steps to take. First,....next,.... then,.... It does take awhile to get everything in order but once we do we'll get the patient all taken care of. If you have any more questions, feel free to give me a call! I'll help the best I can!" They are local and so are we so I'm going to move forward with them, but I hope they can improve their responses to potential customers in the future.

The staff was wonderful from my first office call through surgery recovery. They were so kind and patient. I had many questions. It was the best experience I could have asked for.

I was so nervous to get my wisdom teeth removed. The moment I stepped in, everyone was so nice! My healing was so easy and that was the part I was so nervous for... So 10 out of 10 for Dr. Michael Schiff because I 100% believe how your recovery goes has alot to do with your surgeon!

Just leaving Centrasota Oral Surgeons Care in Alexandria, Mn. Jefferson St I believe. Very great. I was very nervous before coming here, they made me feel at ease. I felt very comfortable. I had my wisdom teeth removed, this place is amazing. I was talking to one of the friendly workers here, then all of a sudden I'm awake in a recovery room. I'd highly recommend Centrasota in Alexandria. I've been afraid of dentists for decades, I'd gladly come back here for all dental needs. Amazing service, comfortability and work.

I absolutely loved this place as the place to get my dental surgery done! Very caring and knowledgeable staff, whose willing to work with you and make sure you get taken care of as best you possibly can! Had no complications and healing time was fast. Was in and out in an hour, with no problems after the surgery, and no pain healing at all! I always recommend this place to everyone and will keep on doing the so!

About Centrasota Oral Surgeons

Centrasota Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is an oral surgery practice with an outreach office in Alexandria, Minnesota, located at 2633 Jefferson Street, Suite 602. The practice originated in 1958 in St. Cloud as the first oral surgery practice in the Central Minnesota region, and it now serves patients from offices in Saint Cloud, Alexandria, Hutchinson, Monticello, and Sartell. Its surgeons practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including a full range of surgical dental implant procedures, bone grafting, wisdom tooth removal, corrective jaw surgery, oral pathology, and treatment of facial injuries.

For patients considering dental implants, the practice describes implants as small titanium anchors placed in the jawbone to act as tooth root substitutes and to support crowns, fixed bridges, or implant-supported dentures. The surgeons are often able to place single stage implants, and in some situations an implant can be placed at the same time as a tooth extraction. Implant treatment is typically a team effort, with the oral surgeon handling extractions, bone grafting, and implant surgery while the patient's own dentist makes and fits the final replacement teeth. Implants and bone grafting can be performed in the office under local anesthesia, intravenous sedation, or general anesthesia, and the practice's surgical staff includes nurses, surgical technicians, and dental assistants who assist with anesthesia and surgery. Patients in the Alexandria area can reach the office at (320) 763-5117.
