I never thought I’d be able to say this, but I had FUN getting my wisdom teeth pulled! Part of this was the miracle of laughing gas Im sure, but mostly this was due to the warm, charismatic, and professional natures of my nurse Bernie and Dr. Jesse. From my initial evaluation I was immediately struck by Dr. Jesse’s friendly, confident, and comfortable way of explaining the tooth extraction. My anxieties melted away as he told me how simple it would be, and on the day of the extraction his and Bernie’s voices were a constant friendly reminder I was in good hands while I was in the chair. I didnt feel a thing! The teeth were out in what felt like ten minutes and recovery has been a breeze. When I got my lower wisdom teeth out with a different surgeon, it was an ordeal. But I made the right choice on finishing the job with this incredible team!!! Thanks so much!

My experience with Dr. Rivera was amazing! I postponed my coronectomy for 6 months out of fear of the procedure, but I regret not having done it sooner! Dr. Rivera was extremely patient, kind, and understanding throughout the whole process. He walked me through the steps of what was happening and made me feel at-ease at all times. I only had local anesthesia and can truly say I did not feel any pain during the procedure and my recovery was smooth without any complications. Elia was the most wonderful surgical tech., and I am so happy I got her! She took time to explain things and gave me the extra attention and care I needed. Overall wonderful experience, and I will definitely be going back here next year when I get the coronectomy on my other tooth!

Amazing office and staff! The assistants Elia and Christine were professional, kind and efficient! Dr. Lanzon was extremely thorough with his plan for me , went into detail and answered all my questions. During the procedure he ensured my comfort throughout and talked me through it so I would know what to expect before he did the task. Overall the office itself was clean, inviting and upscale. I would encourage all to go to this office!

My son had his wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Jesse Lanzon 5/22/25. Soon after my son was feeling great and he only needed ibuprofen for pain after the first day. Dr. Lanzon was friendly, professional, and detailed in his communication. He throughly explained and prepared us for the surgery during the consultation. My son had a great experience with no problems or pain.
A few weeks later, 6/17/25, Dr. Rivera took out my daughters wisdom teeth. He was also friendly, professional, and very detailed. We were prepared with knowledge before the surgery. My daughter was nervous, but was pleased that Dr. Rivera and staff was able to make her comfortable and calm. She like the nitrous oxide before her IV placement. She was happy that her experience was better than she had expected. My daughter had only good things to say about her experience.
Great surgeon’s and staff.
I highly recommend Channel Islands Oral Surgery!
