Dr. Schultz had taken out my wisdom teeth and I was so nervous but the whole staff made the experience not so scary. The entire staff was comforting, very knowledgeable, and answered all of mine and my mothers questions and concerns. I unfortunately developed a dry socket after, but the assistants were able to see me for several appointment and helped me through it. I highly recommend getting your oral surgery done at this clinic!

I am dental phobic and Charlie and Kristen have helped me to be comfortable and to get all of the services I need for healthy teeth. I am so grateful to both of them and the great staff at Southeast Dental. You can be sure you will get the best of care from the most caring folks. Simply the best! I had an after hours emergency and Dr. Schultz took amazing care of me. His professionalism, ability and skill is second to none. I would recommend him to anyone, as a metter of fact, he did my Grandmother鈥檚 dental implants and she raves about him and his results.

I am absolutely devestated. My Dentist from Searhc medical referred me to Dr Schultz because supposedly they are really great at the procedure I need to have done. I was ecstatic and made all the arrangements I needed to make. I work 7 days a week and have 2 employer . I made arrangements to have the time off so I can have this important procedure and recover. Everything seemed to be prepared and ready. I get a phone call at 10:44 am on 7/11/2019 from Dr. Schultz office Sarah asking me for my insurance member number. I was at work and needed to log into my computer to get that info to her. Information given. At 10:56 am she calls again to tell me I gave her the wrong member number so I looked it up again and gave her the number. And inquire for more details. That is when she alerts me to the $1400 I will need to pay out of pocket but she will let me know when after she talks with the insurance company. -end call-Needless to say my heart starts racing as I am trying to comprehend what the heck just happened. At 12:06pm I called back and I believe that the clerks name was Tameka. She isnt aware of what Im talking about and was snyde with me as I bet my anxiety was clear in my tone. She tells me well if your insurance is so n so then they only pay $2000 your procedure with panoramic exrays and such will cost $3,590. So since YOUR insurance ONLY pays $2,000 YOU will have to show up tomorrow with the rest $1,590. 馃槻 what the heck! I ask why was I NOT informed WEEKS ago about this expence when this appointment was made so that I could be prepared? She says I dont know but you were sent a link. To which I replied Yes you did and I confirmed my email and Ive been getting regular text messages reminding me of my appointment. She says I dont know what to tell you. I see you confirmed your email but nothing else -end call- 12:44 pm I call back, same girl picks up the call, I said look is there ANYTHING that you folks can to help me. This is NOT my error. She said No. 馃槻 -end call- my appointment was schedule the next day and I am only learning now of this extraordinary expense that I am suppose to poop out by the next day. With my stress level high and me trying to figure out how i can manage this sudden expense and being at work unable to focus I excuse myself and call Dr Schultz office again at 1:36pm no one answers so I left a message. At 1:46 pm i get a returned call but Im on the phone so I call back at 2:23pm Tameka again answers and I again plea my case and offer 50% cash out of pocket at appointment time. She declines and then tells me Well you work for the state of Alaska apply for a personal loan. 馃槻 I am absolutely devestated as I've waited weeks for this day had all the arrangements made and the day before procedure this happens. I took down the website addresses for the personal loans and went back to work as I sat at my desk in utter dismay and devestated i contemplated the events and made the decision that IF Dr Schultz office and team member cannot be responsible in informing and giving consultations to ensure utmost customer satisfaction, giving the information with the appropriate amount of time so that all parties are aware then Dr Schultz doesnt deserve my money or my insurances money. I called them back at 3:13pm and Megan answered the phone and I cancelled. This morning 7/12 day of mt surgery I called my insurance company and alterted them of what happened. I am glad for everyone that got to have their procedure done and done well. My own personal experience was a nightmare. I do not recommend this oral surgeon.

Thank you so much for answering all my questions and being honest about the risks, I was extremely nervous and when I woke up I felt great, no loopy at all and just tired, I am glad this was done so fast that day but they also receive my referral and took me for surgery next day! Highly recommended.
