Big shout out to Dr Moussa and Charese! My Dad had all of his teeth extracted because of cancer treatments. My mother suddenly died in September and taking over my Dad’s care has not been easy. We are grieving and life is still moving on. They made my transition being Dad’s care giver easier as well! Thank you so much for the great care and compassion! Charese you worked so hard with the VA to get Dad’s approval! God Bless you all!

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed at Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery in Sumter, SC, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. From start to finish, the team was incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating. As someone who was a bit anxious going into the procedure, I truly appreciated how warm and welcoming the staff were — they took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt completely at ease. The doctor was outstanding. Not only was he highly skilled and efficient, but he also had a calm and reassuring presence that made a big difference. He explained the procedure clearly and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The surgery itself went smoothly, and my recovery has been much easier than I expected. The level of care I received was top-notch. Everyone I interacted with — from the front desk to the surgical team — treated me with kindness and professionalism. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients. I highly recommend Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery in Sumter to anyone in need of oral surgery. You’ll be in excellent hands!

Everyone at this office was helpful and kind from the first point of scheduling a consultation, to dealing with insurance benefits and treatment plans, down to every detail at surgery day. I had three wisdom teeth, two of which were partially erupted, getting cavities, and causing pain. The third is fully impacted and has never caused any discomfort, so Dr. Moussa actually suggested leaving that one due to risks of permanent numbness with the tooth position and nerve location. I appreciate his honesty in consultation and trust his judgment so they took the two we discussed. I have horrible anxiety, have been delaying my wisdom teeth removal for years, and had never been sedated for anything before at 39 years old. The staff member who set up my IV, blood pressure cuff, oxygen, etc. was so gentle and comforting and friendly. Last thing I remember before the procedure is Dr. Moussa talking to me about birds (my favorite animal, I told him I wanted to dream about owls during my “nap”) and I was OUT. What felt like seconds later I was getting wheeled out to my ride. My procedure was this morning and so far I haven’t been in pain at all. Have all the meds I need and aftercare info and I am confident that if I have any issues I can count on them to help. Many thanks to this wonderful team!

I had the best wisdom teeth removal experience with Mealy. He is the best! The staff was very nice and patient. Mealy made sure to be detailed with information and going over my medical history before the surgery. He was very kind and professional. I’m so happy with my experience at Charleston oral and Facial Surgery. I definitely recommend.

The staff are amazing from the time you check in to the time you go in the back. This was my daughter first time having dental work and the staff really helped overcome her fear.
