Dr Ross Rosenblatt fit me in for a last minute consult to see if i needed a root canal before getting a crown. He was wonderful. He knew i was very nervous & gave an excellent explanation why he felt i didnt need a root canal, but also that IF down the road I needed one, they could take care of it. His assistants were also great!

Dr. Gray is truly the best Has a great sense of humor, knowledgeable, gentle, and very thorough in explaining everything before and during the procedure. He made what could have been a stressful experience feel completely manageable and comfortable.
I highly recommend Chesapeake Dentistry to anyone looking for high-quality dental care and a team that genuinely puts patients at ease.

Though I had extreme fears of having a root canal and the repair of a broken tooth, both Sally and Dr Ross were able to calmly and patiently walk me through the whole procedure. Dr. Ross, even with my mouth open, could sense when I needed assistance. His calm demeaner and voice at how things were progressing made the procedure flow easier. All of the staff at Chesapeake Dental Specialist made my visit enjoyable. I highly recommend them for your dental needs.

I had an urgent appointment at my dentist due to extreme pain and swelling. They were unable to help me and referred me to Chesapeake Dental Specialists. They got me in right away and went out of their way to get me some relief. Dr Ross and team have been so kind and caring and made a scary situation as pleasant as possible. Highly recommend Dr Ross and the team at Chesapeake Dental Specialists.

I drove my son two hours to his consultation with the oral surgeon. Chesapeake Dental Specialists left us in the waiting room for forty minutes before telling me that my insurance won't cover my son's panoramic x-ray because he's already had one this year. I asked them why they didn't have his X-ray on file that was taken just a couple weeks ago. They had his referral and insurance info since the day the appointment was made so I'm confused why this is just now being brought to my attention. Isn't that the point of submitting everything to them days prior to the appointment? We arrived to our appointment nearly thirty minutes early to make sure we had everything in order and after leaving us sit in the waiting room for forty minutes, they told me they didn't have time to wait for me to call his dentist to get the panoramic x-ray sent over because we were already twenty minutes into our scheduled appointment time. I told them I would find someone else to perform the wisdom teeth extraction because my time is just as valuable as theirs is!

About Chesapeake Dental Specialists
Chesapeake Dental Specialists is an oral and maxillofacial surgery and endodontic practice located at 560 Kempsville Road, Suite 201 in Chesapeake, Virginia, serving patients from Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and the Princess Anne area. The practice is dedicated to specialized dental care for patients who need oral surgery or endodontic treatment, whether they find the office on their own or are referred by their general dentist. Oral surgery services include dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom teeth removal, tooth extractions, surgical removal of teeth, oral pathology, exposure and bonding of impacted teeth, anterior apicoectomy, sedation dentistry, and same-day emergency appointments during regular office hours. Endodontic services include root canal therapy, re-treatment of root canals, endodontic microsurgery, post removals, and evaluation and consultation.
For patients considering dental implants, the practice describes an implant as a titanium post placed in the jawbone to act as a tooth root, with an artificial tooth placed on top to preserve the look, feel, and function of a natural tooth. The site notes that while some implants require two surgical procedures, the practice can complete the process in a single procedure through advanced technology, and that bone grafting is available when there is not enough jawbone to support an implant. To help patients feel comfortable, the office offers sedation options including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, and intravenous sedation, and it provides payment plans, accepts insurance, and offers online appointment requests and new patient forms.
