I had mixed feelings about my visit
First, I want to recognize the receptionist. She is always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Every time I come in, she greets me with a smile and makes me feel comfortable. She has such a warm energy, and I really appreciate her馃グ
Unfortunately, my experience with the dental cleaning was different. I felt uncomfortable when I was asked why I didn鈥檛 have dental insurance. I explained that dental coverage is expensive for me right now and that I only had CareCredit available. I was already embarrassed about the condition of my teeth, and when I apologized for them, I didn鈥檛 feel much empathy or reassurance. A little kindness in that moment would have meant a lot.
The dentist also came in, greeted me, and I asked how he was doing, but he didn鈥檛 respond before moving on. It made the interaction feel rushed and impersonal
I understand everyone has busy days, but compassion and bedside manner are important, especially when patients are feeling vulnerable. I also learned they no longer accept CareCredit, so unfortunately I won鈥檛 be returning

For almost 20 years, Dr Chung and his staff have provided for my dental needs with professionalism, timely appointments, concern for my comfort during procedures, thorough explanation of evaluations, warm welcomes when coming for appointments, reasonable pricing 鈥 have had crowns, extractions, fillings, root canal, and cleanings over these many years. I am grateful for all the care I have received.

From Sharon鈥檚 smile when you walk in, they also allowed me to bring my toddler with me. Which was a huge help as it was after school. Kim is an amazing dental hygienist, my mouth felt sparkling clean. She and Dr. Chung are friendly and gentle(I have a phobia and anxiety of dentists as a result of past traumatic experiences). Their care has helped me stay on top of my dental hygiene thank you.

A little over three years ago, I was assisted by a dental hygienist, Kim. I later learned she left the practice to have a baby. She has now returned and assisted me this past week. I was impressed she remembered me and how nervous I was during my 1st visit, learning I hadn't seen a dentist in many years. She said I appeared much more relaxed this time. Dr. Chung came in, checked my teeth and said, "Continue with daily flossing and thorough brushing. It's making a difference." I'm always a little nervous going to the dentist but was thrilled by his comment. He basically acknowledged I'm doing much better taking care of my teeth. 馃榿

Dr. Chung and Sharon provide a well run, efficient office. The hygienist was good but needs to control the water spray.
