I had an excellent experience at this dental office from start to finish! The staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable right away.
Dr. Mohler was thorough, gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. They answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable throughout the extensive procedure that I had.
I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality care and a friendly, reassuring environment.

Let me start out by saying that I have ALWAYS been terrified of dentists! In fact so much so that I have been diagnosed with white coat syndrome! My BP ALWAYS shoots out the top just arriving at their office! Dr Mohler's team have been phenomenal with putting me at ease! I had to have a jaw tooth that was infected extracted and was told that I needed to be given an IV to sedate me. Dr Mohler and his nurse Madeline immediately put me at ease and I actually felt very calm before they started. I remember nothing except them talking to each other but don't even remember what they said. When it was over, Madeline wheeled me out and told me I had done amazingly well! My dental surgery went extremely well yesterday. Dr. Mohler and his team treated me like a queen and I received next level top tier care. I have very little swelling and no pain today. I highly recommend Dr. Mohler for all dental or oral surgeon needs. Dr. Mohler's practice is a one stop shop which makes a more easy and comfortable experience.

Chris Mohler DDS, LLC is a general and cosmetic dentistry practice located at 200 Midtown Drive in Beaufort, South Carolina, serving patients from Beaufort and neighboring Lowcountry communities such as Bluffton, Hilton Head, and Charleston. Dr. Mohler and his wife, Janine, established the practice in 1994 with the goal of providing advanced dental care in a modern, relaxed environment. Dental implants are a central focus of the practice, with services that include single implant placement, computer-guided implant surgery planned from cone beam computed tomography scans, and the All-on-4 treatment concept for patients who need a full arch of implant-supported teeth. The practice also offers the Platelet Rich Growth Factor technique, in which a registered nurse on staff draws the patient's blood so their own growth factors can be used to aid healing.
Beyond implants, the office provides dental crowns and bridges, same-day CEREC crowns, inlays and onlays, fillings, tooth extractions, root canal treatment, teeth cleaning and periodontal maintenance, child dentistry, sealants, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, sleep apnea treatment, and non-invasive treatment for jaw joint disorders. Sedation options include oral sedation and in-office intravenous sedation, with a board-certified medical anesthesiologist present for all surgeries. The practice states it was the first in the Lowcountry to have a cone beam CT scanner. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, is accepting new patients, and offers second-opinion consultations.
Meet the Doctors
Dr. Chris Mohler, DDS, received his dental degree from Loyola University in 1986 and served in the United States Navy dental corps, including two years in the oral surgery department, before entering private practice in Beaufort in 1994. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, completed a three-month implant mini-residency at the University of North Carolina, and completed an online implant fellowship and the Clinical Masters program through New York University and Dental XP, earning his Implant Fellowship certification in 2019 and his Masters certification in June 2020. He is also a Fellow of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Learning, a member of the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics, and has provided non-invasive, conservative treatment for jaw joint disorders for 20 years. He has worked in computer-aided design and milling dentistry for 20 years, has trained fellow dentists in CEREC same-visit restorations as a trainer for Patterson Dental, serves as a clinical advisor to the Ritter Dental Implant Company, and holds a 2018 patent for a concussion-mitigating mouth guard called the M8.
