Dr. Couri and his team are amazing! I have extreme anxiety with any dental procedure. Both Dr. Couri and his team did a great job of explaining the procedure, what will happen during the procedure and answer any questions that I had. This really helped to put me at much more ease and he has a good sense of humor too which is always a win!

Dr Couri is the nicest dentist I’ve ever been to. I have really bad dental anxiety which has resulted in bad teeth. He never makes me feel bad about it and is always kind and compassionate. He always explains options thoroughly and is great at what he does. I wish all dentists were like him.

Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. Christopher Couri, DDS, MS, a periodontist who was born and raised in Peoria. He graduated from Saint Louis University and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, then completed a three year periodontal residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center that included training in all stages of implant dentistry. Dr. Couri returned to Peoria in 1999 and took over the practice from his father, who had run it for three decades; the practice is now in its ninth decade of service to Central Illinois. He is published in dental journals, has served as a clinical instructor in the dental hygiene program at Illinois Central College, and is a periodontal instructor with OSF Hospital's General Residency program. He is a past president of the Peoria District Dental Society and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, and has been honored with membership in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
