Dr Grau and everyone in his office were great. They all were very knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful with billing and insurance questions. Dr Grau was amazing when extracting my back tooth. I had absolutely no pain or real discomfort and was done in less than a half hour. I think it takes longer and more discomfort when getting a cavity filled. I highly recommend Dr Grau and his practice. Keep doing what you are doing!

Dr. Spencer and team did an excellent job throughout. Mine was a long process (extraction/implant) and foremost in process was ensuring success and comfort throughout. Everyone on team was pleasant and efficient. Definitely would trust your family's oral, dental needs to Dr. Spencer.

I was repeatedly assured by the office staff that this practice was covered by my insurance, as long as the provider’s name appeared on the list. I spoke to multiple people at the office and was given the same answer every time — “if it’s listed, then it’s covered.” My insurance company also told me that the office is responsible for updating their provider list, and advised me to call the office to confirm coverage. Not a single person at the practice actually checked or verified this for me.
I ultimately paid in full out of pocket for my son’s procedure, but he never received the scheduled sedation. I was told by staff that the cost for sedation would be refunded directly back to my card. I waited and followed up, but after multiple calls and missed deadlines, the explanation changed to needing to verify what insurance would cover, which made no sense, since I had already paid personally and the service was never performed.
After being transferred to another office, I was finally able to receive a partial refund for the sedation that was never administered. The refund was several hundred dollars and took far too long to process.
I only came here for a consultation because I was told it would be covered by my insurance , when in reality, it was not. I would not recommend this practice to anyone planning to use insurance for payment. The lack of verification, poor communication, and delayed refund process were incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

As a former dental professional and a caring grandmother, I have dealt with many professionals in the health and dental fields . This group has a very skilled professional surgeon with amazing follow up and an extremely efficient and competent staff. I highly recommend their services .

About Cincinnati Oral, Maxillofacial & Dental Implant Surgery
Cincinnati Oral, Maxillofacial & Dental Implant Surgery is an oral surgery practice serving the White Oak area on Cincinnati's west side from its office at 7611 Cheviot Road, one of three locations the practice operates across greater Cincinnati along with offices on Miami Avenue and Five Mile Road. The practice focuses on dental implant care, including single tooth replacement, full mouth dental implants, and implant supported dentures. For patients who need more support in the jaw before implants can be placed, the practice also provides bone grafting procedures such as sinus lifts, ridge augmentation, and socket preservation, along with wisdom tooth removal and other oral surgery services.
Patients considering dental implants can schedule an exam and consultation at whichever of the three offices is most convenient, and the practice's website offers details on financing, insurance, and online patient registration before a first visit. Care is provided by two oral surgeons, Dr. Nathan J. Spencer and Dr. Mark Schibler, who together handle the full range of implant treatment from planning through placement, so patients replacing one tooth or a full arch can have their surgical care completed within the same practice.
