I have been here twice and the staff and surgeon are just the best! Having dental work is scary, but they make it so calm and for someone with severe anxiety, they have really worked with me and calmed me down. If I ever need more work done, this is the first place I would call. They truly care, Dr. Patel has gone above and beyond my expectations and made me more comfortable with dental work than I’ve ever been. I thank the entire office for the pleasant experience, both times :)

This entire practice is amazing! The front office is so welcoming, the clinic staff is so gentle and kind, Dr. Patel is amazing! Everyone was friendly, everything they did was explained, Dr.Patel personally called me after my surgery to check on me. Excellent team!

This oral surgeon office is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. From the amazing front staff to the extraordinary doctor and assistants. They really make it such a flawless experience. My original appointment was June 9th. Asked to be put on a cancellation list. And within a short amount of time I got moved up. And my procedure is already done. Minimal pain. Minimal swelling. Amazing headband Ice packs. Jamie and Becky are true rockstars getting the meds sent out in time too! Couldn’t be happier with my experience here! So impressed!

Had a good experience getting my wisdom teeth removed here. The staff is kind, quick and helpful. While I got quite nervous just before the procedure began, it helped that Dr. Patel was a reassuring and clear communicator. My recovery has been smooth, as their post-surgical guidelines are clear and straightforward. I recommend and thank Dr. Patel and the team!

From the moment I walked in, the entire staff made me feel like family rather than just another patient. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about my well-being throughout the entire process.
I would especially like to recognize Dr. Patel for his exceptional professionalism, honesty, and patient-centered care. What impressed me most was his willingness to prioritize my safety above all else. Although he initially felt confident that my extraction could be performed safely, he carefully reassessed the situation when additional factors arose. Rather than allowing confidence or pride to influence his decision, he relied on his professional judgment and experience to make the choice that was in my best interest.
That level of integrity is rare and deeply appreciated. As a patient, you place a tremendous amount of trust in your surgeon, and Dr. Patel demonstrated exactly why he deserves that trust. My husband and I are incredibly grateful for his thoughtful approach and for taking every precaution to avoid potential complications that could have had serious consequences.
If you’re looking for a surgeon and dental team who combine expertise, compassion, and genuine concern for their patients, I cannot recommend Dr. Patel and his staff highly enough. Thank you all for the outstanding care and for treating us with such kindness and respect.

Citrus Oral & Facial Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located in the Meadowcrest Office Park at 6129 West Corporate Oaks Drive in Crystal River, Florida, with a second office in Ocala. The practice describes itself as caring for the Nature Coast for over 30 years and serving Citrus and Marion County. Meet the Doctors
The practice's clinical team includes Dr. Rushi S. Patel, DDS, PhD, Dr. Clayton Hamrick, Dr. Manik S. Bedi, and Dr. Samual Landrian, DMD, MD. Dr. Patel, a Citrus County native and Lecanto High School graduate, earned his undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completed a PhD and his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Florida, where he was Chief Resident in 2013, and joined the practice in 2014. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, has extensive training in dental implants and facial reconstruction, and is one of the few surgeons in the state with experience placing zygomatic implants. Dr. Landrian earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, then completed a year of general surgery and anesthesia training before finishing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Maryland and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he served as chief administrative resident. He is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose interests include outpatient anesthesia, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, reconstruction, and benign pathology.
