I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr. Patel and the entire team at Citrus Oral Surgery. In January 2026, I had two teeth extracted, and now several months later, I’m happy to share that the surgical site has healed beautifully. The outcome exceeded my expectations, and I truly feel grateful for the care I received. Before choosing Dr. Patel, I did extensive research and came to the conclusion that he was one of the most capable oral surgeons in Central Florida (if not THE most capable oral surgeon). After going through this experience, I can confidently say that my personal experience fully reflects that belief. He is someone who warrants high trust. From the very beginning, the staff at Citrus Oral Surgery were very impressive. Every interaction I had with the team was marked by professionalism, kindness, and a willingness to help. A special thank-you to Lindsey Draft, the nurse practitioner in the Crystal River location, who was incredibly professional and kind during my first visit. She took the time to address my concerns thoroughly and put me completely at ease, which meant a lot to me. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Patel demonstrated an exceptional bedside manner. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the procedure. That level of attentiveness and genuine care made a huge difference in what could have otherwise been a stressful experience. Dr. Patel's experience and capability in oral surgery were also fully evident -- apparent in how he handled the procedure and in the results. I am deeply thankful to Dr. Patel, Lindsey, and the entire team at Citrus Oral Surgery for the outstanding care they provided. If you’re looking for a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy oral surgeon and team, I would highly recommend them without hesitation.

I’m leaving this review to share my experience so future patients can ask the right questions. The clinical care itself seemed fine, but the communication around billing and treatment changes was concerning. I initially agreed to a treatment plan that included a bone graft procedure that was approved by my insurance. During the procedure, the surgeon decided to use PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) instead. When this change was discussed, I specifically asked whether the alternative would be covered by my insurance. I was told it would actually be less expensive and that I would receive a refund for what I had already paid toward the bone graft. After the procedure, I was later informed that the PRF procedure performed was not covered by my insurance and that I now owe an additional balance. I did not sign a revised treatment plan reflecting this change in cost. My concern is not the surgeon’s clinical judgment. I understand that treatment decisions can change during surgery. My concern is that patients should be clearly informed if a change in treatment could increase their financial responsibility before the procedure continues. I would strongly encourage future patients to ask detailed questions about costs if a treatment plan changes during a procedure.

Textbook professionalism and warmth. I had a consult visit where Marlene ARNP did a detailed physical and history and explained how my wisdom teeth extraction involved potential complications due to being close to my facial nerves and how I needed a CT scan to help map out the plan. They planned for extraction in less than a week. When I arrived for my procedure, I was surrounded by staff who had so much depth and character making me feel comfortable, playing my relaxing music of choice. Dr. Murbach who has amazing bedside manner promptly joined the rest of the staff. He explained in detail of how he intended to approach this extraction and from the moment sedation began, I was waking up, relaxed, continued to be cared for, with in depth instructions and paperwork to ensure my successful recovery. Day one I had no visible swelling and very little pain, and now it’s day two with all residual numbness of my left lower lip gone. For someone who never had dental insurance or in depth care due to not being able to afford it in the past. I am beyond grateful for this experience. I cant recommend this office enough.

Got 2 wisdom teeth removed and it went fantastic. I've been to other places before but this was by far the best experience. Pricing was fair, and the operation went very well. I highly recommend getting work done here!

Had a wisdom tooth that needed to come out. The staff and the doctor were very comforting. They played music that I liked, they kept checking on me throughout the procedure. They even called that night to check on me. I even got a thank you card a week later. Everything was great!!!
