Finding a dentist I can trust has been a very long journey and I am happy to say it has come to a very pleasing conclusion. City Creek Dental was recommended to me for my root canal + crown. They were respectful and very kind. They took their time explaining the procedure to me and my other options, making sure I understood my choices. This has been the most fantastic dentist experience ever. (Coming from someone who (used to!) regularly have panic attacks in the dentist office.) Dr. Okereke made me feel confident and comfortable in my choice of care. If you also experienced anxiety about the dentist, give these folks a try. I cannot recommend highly enough.

My root canal was actually very easy, and the on-site crown fabrication is really impressive and convenient. The staff was great… Deazia at the desk, Diana assisting, and Dr. Okereke. Highly recommend!

Had a general cleaning that resulted in me needing a crown. No problem, but when I returned to ask clarifying questions about what led to the broken tooth I was met with pure unprofessionalism. The dentist is very emotional, and immediately was angry before I even spoke. He told me to get out of the office or they would call the cops for “accusing him of owing me 2,000 dollars for a crown”. What? I just wanted to understand why my tooth broke. Instead of informing me, they gave me a refund and told me to get out. Regardless of the tooth, I’ve never seen a grown man behave in such a childish manner.

The process was very professional and time efficient. It was all handled with care, so much so that I nearly fell asleep during the process. Will recommend to anyone and everyone.

I had a dental emergency earlier this week. This dental office was recommended to me and I was in too much pain to research dentists in the area. I have severe dental anxiety which is what led to the emergency. I rarely go to dentists until an emergency arises. They were able to fit me in and do the extraction two days later. Connie and Dr. Keller were amazing! My blood pressure was really high because of fear and pain. They waited and allowed me to bring my BP down with help of a numbing shot so I could still get the extraction. That did the trick! Of course I paid extra for the laughing gas, but I didn’t mind. I went in knowing dentists are expensive and I don’t have dental insurance. My mouth is a mess, and they didn’t judge me. They were compassionate and patient. Connie even had somebody else take the X-ray while she held it in my mouth so I didn’t have to bite down, which caused so much pain. The procedure ended after the office had closed. They didn’t rush me. They were so kind and I got to see Dr. Keller’s precious baby. After the numbing went away once I was at home, I was in intense pain and crying. I took Tylenol and Advil. I was able to text Dr. Keller, who called a pain prescription in for me to get through the first day or so. It’s been 24 hours now. The pain prescription helped a ton. Of course I still had pain, but it was manageable. Now I’m just taking Tylenol, Advil, and an ice pack and feeling much better. I was given all post op instructions and am following them word for word to avoid dry sockets. I am addicted to soda and I am only drinking what is allowed! They also gave me a light duty work note. I requested light duty. I’m sure they would have given me a day or two off work if that is what I had asked for. I would recommend this dental office to anyone who asks. I also plan on returning to discuss non-emergency dental work. I am posting a picture of the waiting area. It is a historic house and so inviting.
