After moving to Clear Lake 2 years ago... I've finally changed to a dentist locally after 25 years of service in Story City. So happy to have found Clear Lake Family Dentistry and Dr Jacob Sorensen! Excellent, thorough & friendly staff to greet you and check out. Laurie was my Hygenist and I was super impressed with her skills and how thorough my first visit was. I love a good cleaning! I am happy and confident with my decision to choose Clear Lake Family Dentistry. Thank you! That's one less drive south for an appointment! Look forward to my future dentist appointments!

Today I picked up a retainer and had my last work done with Dr Ashley Scarrow. And another great cleaning by Hygenist Tori! Top notch Dentist & Hygenist! Both very particular. Pretty sure they all are, at Clear Lake Family Dentistry.

Clear Lake Family Dentistry makes going to the dentist a breeze. The ease of scheduling around my hectic family plans with 5 sons has been very relieving. Everybody from reception, billing, dental hygienists to the dentists themselves are extremely friendly and helpful. We've been going here 17 years now and I'm so happy I found them when I did. Would recommend 10/10.

Meet the Doctors
The practice's clinical team includes Dr. Jacob Sorensen, DDS, Dr. Matthew Meyers, DDS, and Dr. Ashley Scarrow, DDS. Dr. Sorensen, a Clear Lake native and University of Iowa dental graduate, has a particular interest in dental implant rehabilitation and orthodontics, has completed a mini-residency in the treatment planning, prosthetic, and surgical aspects of dental implants, and has restored cases ranging from single tooth implants to full mouth implant restorations. He is also an Invisalign Preferred Provider and trained in traditional wire braces through Progressive Orthodontics Seminars. Dr. Meyers joined the practice in 2018 after graduating from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and has taken extensive continuing education in implantology, allowing him to offer both implant placement and restoration in the office. Dr. Scarrow, also a Clear Lake native and University of Iowa College of Dentistry graduate, began practicing in 2019 and was elected to the college's Rural Dentist Program. All three are members of the American Dental Association.
