From beginning to end, my experience with Coastal Virginia Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was exceptional.
I initially went there for a wisdom teeth extraction consultation. I was disappointed to learn that my medical insurance, not my dental insurance, would need to cover the procedure because several of my wisdom teeth were partially impacted. As a single parent, I simply couldn't afford to pay the cost upfront and wait for reimbursement, so I chose another oral surgeon who was in-network with my medical insurance.
Unfortunately, that decision ended up costing me much more. During my wisdom tooth extraction, the other oral surgeon cracked the healthy tooth next to my wisdom tooth and never even told me it had happened.
The first call I made was to Dr. Yeh's office. They immediately stepped in and worked their magic. Dr. Yeh and his incredible staff were able to take care of the damaged tooth, and from that moment on, the difference in care was undeniable.
Every interaction, from the professionalism of the staff to the genuine compassion they showed, and even the post-operative follow-up phone call, made me feel like I truly mattered as a patient. That level of customer service is rare these days.
It's clear that this practice is focused on helping people, not just making money.
Looking back, knowing what I know now, I would have found a way to pay upfront and wait for my insurance reimbursement just so I could have been treated by Dr. Yeh and his team from the beginning.
If you're looking for an oral surgeon who provides outstanding clinical care, professionalism, compassion, and exceptional customer service, I cannot recommend Coastal Virginia Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery highly enough.
Don't walk, run. You'll be glad you did.

If I could give 12 stars I would. From the first time I spoke on the phone to the front desk, to the time of the consultation, to surgery day, before, during and after surgery, our experience was beyond amazing. Every person we spoke to was kind and so helpful. They truly care for their patients there. Dr. Yeh and his staff are very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, put mine and my sons nerves at ease and just truly have hearts of gold. Thank you all so much for your kindness, I will recommend you guys to everyone for years and years to come.

I just wanted give some praise to the team that helped with my operation. Coastal VIrginia Oral Surgery did such a great job! Administrative/Front desk were so responsive and kind. I had a back tooth that had to be removed, with a bit of anxiety leading up to the process. Cynthia and Dr. Yeh were absolute Rockstars and literally had my tooth out in like 15 minutes flat. They worked so fluidly it was easier than a teeth cleaning. If you have any doubt about who you should choose for an oral surgery, make it Coastal Virginia Oral Surgery!!!

I had a tooth extraction performed at Coastal Virginia Oral and Maxillofacial. The staff was very nice and informative. Dr. Frank Yeh was my dentist. He was great ensuring that I felt no pain during the extraction. His assistant was equally nice and informative about the post extraction procedures. Additionally, Dr. Yeh called me later that evening to inquire about how I was doing. I don’t recall a doctor ever doing that. Great job. Highly recommend this group if needing similar procedure.

I had 2 stubborn teeth extracted that just didn't want to come out!! But Dr.Yeh skillfully
performed the surgery as well as the first phase of the implant. During the entire procedure, both the Dr.and his assistant were caring and always concerned about my comfort. I highly recommend Dr.Frank Yeh for any oral surgery
in Virginia Beach.
