Be cautious and get a second opinion.
I was told at this office that I needed over $11,000 worth of dental work, including 3–4 crowns and 3 fillings. When I was told I needed that much extensive work, I immediately felt something wasn’t right.
I decided to call my previous dentist (even though it’s a longer drive) and get a second opinion. I’m very thankful I did. They confirmed I only needed 2 fillings and 1 crown which made much more sense.
I’m grateful I trusted my instincts, because getting a second opinion saved me about $8,500 and prevented unnecessary dental work.
It’s unfortunate that patients have to seek second opinions to feel confident, but that’s the reality. If you’re told you need extensive or costly treatment here, I strongly recommend getting another opinion before moving forward.

today I called for my annual cleaning. I’ve been a patient of Dr Pope for 30 plus years.
I was told coliseum dental cannot see me
anymore. Why?? Because Dr Erickson and I
did not agree that he made a mistake that
was costing me thousands of dollars for
a service that he took it upon himself to do without permission. Bottom line…I stood up
for myself and didn’t back off just because
he has a longer resume. I’m 79 years old
and did not want to continue paying for their
office upgrades. I’ve never had a problem in
over 30 years with Dr Pope. It’s disappointing
that he is backing the decision not to see me
because I had a legitimate issue with the other Md. Looking out for patients is a fairy tale, at 79 I’m forced to try to find someone new. Frankly, they are acting like petulant
children who as long as u behave your ok,
but if u stand up for a wrong doing, your gone. May my age was a factor in their decision.
If one continues to obtain their services I hope it all goes well so the same thing doesn’t happen to another brave soul.

Ashley the hygienist was truly professional, gentle and thorough and I really appreciated the job she did cleaning my teeth. Crystal took the time to explain our options. I felt like I was just in the living room talking to my family. All in all a wonderful experience.
