I can’t recommend Dr. Nasser and the team at Contemporary Dentistry enough! From the moment you walk in, everyone at the front desk is welcoming and friendly, and that same level of care continues throughout your visit.
Dr. Nasser is kind, patient, and incredibly thorough. He takes the time to explain every step of the procedure, answers all of your questions, and makes sure you understand exactly what to expect. I recently had a crown done, and before administering the anesthesia, he carefully explained which areas he would be numbing and why. During the procedure, he was extremely gentle and checked on me frequently to make sure I was comfortable and not experiencing any pain.
I’ve also had cleanings, a custom mouth guard, and retainers made at this office, and every experience has been outstanding. The hygienists are thorough, professional, and caring, and the entire staff consistently provides exceptional service.
Every visit has been a five-star experience. If you’re looking for a dentist who is knowledgeable, compassionate, gentle, and truly cares about his patients, I highly recommend Dr. Nasser and the entire team at Contemporary Dentistry!

Hygienists Amy and Kaitlyn were excellent in giving me a great routine cleaning. I am new to this office and felt relaxed and comfortable. I feel like I made a good choice with them and my teeth will be well cared for.

My hygienist Kaitlyn is the best! She is friendly and always has a smile--most important, I feel well taken care of. The dentists are friendly and informative regarding my dental health.

About Contemporary Dentistry
Contemporary Dentistry is a private, owner operated general and cosmetic dental practice at 643 Gold Star Highway in Groton, Connecticut. The office states it has been serving the community from this location for more than 40 years and is not part of a dental service organization or corporate group. Its philosophy is to treat patients honestly, with integrity, and to provide the type of care the team would want for themselves. For patients missing teeth, the practice offers dental implants, implant retained dentures, dental bridges, dental crowns, and full and partial dentures, along with denture relines, repairs, and immediate dentures. Meet the Doctors

Dr. Nasser, a Groton native, graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2013 and completed a one year general dentistry residency at New York Hospital in Queens, New York, with a focus on hospital based and emergency dentistry.
