The dentist here is good but his staff is awful they had a full blown breakdown of another patients work right outside the door my room at full volume and I was able to hear the details of another patience life, it was unprofessional and not a conversation that should have been had in the hallway where everybody pull hear

DO NOT GO. This place ruined my teeth. At first I wanted to find a place that can get my teeth checked close to where I live because I have some wisdom teeth that’s growing, found this place and got on their waiting list and got in later. They did x-ray and cleaning which I was fine with that. Then they found some cavities and said I need some fillings, which I think that’s ok and agreed with. But things did not go as planned after the filling. I have been having pain, the tooth they did the filling on, start to get loose and experiencing hot and cold sensitivity. Finally I consulted another dentist at Petosky area, they said this filling got too deep and exposed my nerve which was the cause of the hot and cold sensitivity. Now I have to spend maybe five times more money on the root canal because copper dental failed my filling. I will never recommend this place to anybody who wants to get their teeth done.

The staff is knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. I learned more about my teeth in one visit at Cooper Dental than I did in 20 years of going to another dentist. They gave me more confidence by suggesting a porcelain tooth instead of what I currently had because I chipped my tooth a few years ago. Also, they let me know that I may need braces, why, and how I could find out more information. They know what they are talking about and they want to help you make the best decision for you.

This is a top quality Dental practice. We were in the Soo for the summer and my wife had a crown come off while eating on a Saturday. She was able to save it and we contacted our dental insurance and our local California dentist and they said to go to Walgreen and get dental glue to put it on temporally until she could get to a dentist to have it cemented properly and make sure that there was no damage to the tooth or crown. Monday we called all of the local Soo dentist to see if she could get it done right away. All of them were very busy and some were on vacation or just returning from vacation, so they weren't able to do anything for us. I am not complaining about them not being able to help us, as they have their regular scheduled patients to take care of first. Every dental office I called was very professional. Cooper dental said they would put her on a cancellation list and see if they could get her in. Cooper Dental call later that day to say they had a cancellation on Tuesday in the afternoon, so we said yes we will be there and we are cash customers to insure that they would be paid promptly. Tuesday afternoon we showed up on time and filled out patient information and she was seen right then. Xrays and preparing of the crown and tooth was great and my wife said that she wish our regular dentist in California was as good as Dr. Cooper and also the lady that did the other duties. This dental office is CLEAN and NEAT and everyone there was very profession and a pleasure to work with. We were there only about 45 minutes total and happily paid our bill and thanked the front office person who helped us. We recommend Cooper Dental.

The dentist never talked to me, not once. He messed up every tooth he worked on and I had to return several times, he referred us out for everything else - extracting wisdom teeth, regular teeth, root canals, etc. The front office lady is an ogre with a fake smile who told me if I canceled my appointment with only 24 hours notice I'd never get another appointment with them again and then told me when I didn't go to who they referred me to I was no longer their patient ever. I also found out the last tooth Cooper worked on that they charged me a thousand dollars for needs to be re-done, it's being referred to as a "faulty restoration ". You'd be wise to go elsewhere... they'll send you away anyway..
