Update: I got a refund so at least that is something I can use it towards my root canal I need to have now.
Oct 15th—I was told I would need a pulp cap & crown for my treatment amounting to $1497.00. We had caught it in time but if I bought their “Dental Plan” for $99, whatever treatment I needed would be discounted.
When I went to pay for the initial appointment they tried to charge me $150 & “forgot” to offer any kind of package I was told over the phone and made me feel awkward for asking.
The office manager was not in so I would be contacted later that week of the discounted price to book my appointment. No follow up was ever made so I continually called for updates on pricing but I was always pushed off.
Nov 10th—ALMOST AN ENTIRE MONTH LATER I finally called to just book the procedure from the severe pain and to note that no one had ever contacted me about the price.
I was finally told it was only a 5% discount by the front desk helper/hygienist so I waited a whole month of pain and discomfort for a simple 5 second answer. I was also told I would need to wait until November 26th to receive treatment even though I was in severe pain…ANOTHER 16 DAYS!!
Needless to say I booked with another dental office same-day and it turns out I actually needed a root canal now amounting to $2000!! Which leads me to believe they either:
1. THEY MISDIAGNOSED ME
OR WORSE
2. THIER INCOMPETENCE CAUSED ME MORE DAMAGE—OR BOTH!!
I trusted the wrong people with my care and I hope no one else ever has to suffer this kind of treatment. Currently waiting on a refund and some kind of apology for this horrible experience.
Also note when I called, I asked to speak to their office manager to file a complaint on this situation and was told they would call me back. This was the text I received today (Nov 11th) which is pushing me off again and offering this too late. And the email they sent had NOTHING to do with talking about my complaint. Worst communication ever and took zero responsibility.

My mother, her insurer, & a office manager (?) (or at least a rep in charge of billing from this dentist's office) were on a three-way call that was intended to get compensation for services that my mother paid for out of pocket. The insurer told the office that my mother was indeed needing to re-imbursed for those service's.
Prior to this call this dentist's office rebuked my mother's request. The dentist's office took down my mother's info like patient details, etc while still on the 3 way call and advised they would be sending a check in the mail. SHE HAS REC'D NO COMPENSATION AS PROMISED.
You didn't bill the insurance so where did my mother's payment go? Petty cash or that employee's back pocket? My mother is on a fixed income & this isn't fair!
My mother just told me about her experience here a few days ago. I AM ADVOCATING FOR MY MOTHER!

So grateful for the new Dentist, Dr Smith that is serving there now. Brandy, the Dental Hygienist was kind, thorough, and very professional. The team in the front was the best. Glad to find this local dental office. My whole family goes here now.
