I have been coming to this dental practice for years! They are always very kind and professional. Dr. Ulloa is very gentle and comforting. Kimberly is the BEST Hygienist I have ever been with. She is always very friendly and makes going to the dentist super fun! She makes everyone feel like family. :) Dr. Ulloa's Assistants, Mandy and Amber, are super sweet and very knowledgeable. Rebekah, Christy, and Melanie always greet me with a smile and are always very helpful when I have questions regarding insurance. I'm so thankful to have found such an all around awesome practice!

Excellent experience from start to finish! The receptionist was welcoming and friendly upon arrival. Beth provided a thorough and gentle cleaning and made the appointment very comfortable. Dr. Ulloa was personable, took the time to answer all of my questions, and made me feel confident in my care. Everyone in the office was professional and attentive. Highly recommend!

Dr.Ulloa is the best....explains everything, very kind, knowledgeable, likeable and really tries to help you relax. His assistant Mandy also helped put me at ease. I had one filling replaced and one other filling. It was probably one of the best dentist visits ever....even though l always dread it like the plague.
And l should have left a review ages ago about Kimberly, my dental hygienist. She is A+++ She is always so up beat and talks on and on about her family while still being a good listener. Let's just say lm in a great mood when l leave. If l have to go to the dentist for whatever reason.....at least I get to go here!!!

My experience with everyone in this office has been amazing. Amber and Kim are wonderful. Dr. Ulloa is excellent at what he does. Visiting the dentist is not usually something a person looks forward to but the team at Crafting Smiles makes it a pleasure.

My son Jeremiah was extremely nervous about his fill in. Amber told him jokes and made him feel very comfortable. She is great with kids and has great customers I service. I truly appreciate her.10/10

Crafting Smiles is a family-owned dental practice on North Duke Street in Durham, North Carolina, led by Dr. Ernesto Ulloa, who runs the office together with his wife, Adriany. Meet the Doctors
Dr. Ernesto Ulloa, DMD, is the dentist at Crafting Smiles. He earned his first dental degree from the University of Medical Sciences at Villa Clara in his native Cuba, practiced in Quito, Ecuador, and then earned his second dental degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He has completed advanced training in dental implants, root canal treatment, and cosmetic dentistry, holds Invisalign certification, and is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Association. He is the only dentist listed on the practice's current website.
