I’m 10/20 minutes after my surgery. I was so terrified and nervous but wow everyone was so amazing and kind to me. They took it at my pace and made me feel comfortable the entire way. Once it was done, I couldn’t stop laughing at how easy it was. I was stressed and worried for no reason. I wish I could give more stars. I am so happy I decided to go here and get this operation done. I can’t thank each staff member enough for everything. Thank you all!

This was the most informative experience with a dental office I've ever had. Dr. Lim explained in great detail about the process and what to expect afterwards. The staff was friendly and professional beyond my expectations.

Staff was very competent and extremely polite. The anaestheologist hit the vein right away.Dr Lim was excellent and painless. It was a good experience. I highly recommend him.

I want to share the most heartfelt thank you to Dr. Lim and the entire staff at Crescent City Oral Surgery. They are truly the best! From start to finish, the care and professionalism we received were beyond excellent. Dr. Lim is not only a skilled surgeon, but also someone who truly understands how to treat patients with compassion and patience.
As a mom of an autistic son, I was extremely nervous about his wisdom tooth surgery. But Dr. Lim and his team made this overwhelming experience feel calm and manageable. They used the right strategies to help my son feel relaxed and safe. Their approach is unique—they work with care and never rush. They make sure their patients are comfortable and confident before beginning anything.
I’ve never seen such a professional and caring team. They know how to work with special needs patients with the right techniques, kindness, and patience. I felt so supported every step of the way, and my son was in the best hands possible.

Crescent City Oral Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located at 3330 Kingman Street, Suite 3 in Metairie, Louisiana. The practice describes its mission as providing the highest level of compassionate care in the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and it serves patients from New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, the Westbank, the Northshore, and Baton Rouge. Dental implants are a core part of the practice. Meet the Doctors
Crescent City Oral Surgery is led by its founder, Dr. Rathana (Ray) Lim, DDS, MD, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Lim earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the USC School of Dentistry in 2007, then completed the LSU oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, earning his medical degree in 2012 and finishing residency in 2015. He went on to serve as an assistant professor and director of undergraduate oral surgery in the LSU Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program. Dr. Lim uses virtual surgical planning and CT-guided implant placement for cases ranging from a single implant to full mouth reconstruction, and also performs bone grafting, TMJ surgery, oral pathology treatment, and facial trauma surgery.
