This is the 2nd time I needed a tooth pulled. Both my experiences at CRIOS of onalaska were outstanding. The staff was so nice. Dr. Polzin sure knows what he's doing and has great bed side manners. They 10000% made sure I was completely numb, not just by asking me, but giving an extra shot to be sure. I was worried about it all day, just to have the extraction done in 5 minutes. I recommend the Onalaska office to anyone that needs oral surgery.

Dr. Timm and his staff did a great job. Went in last week for the removal of all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Recovered in about a week. The team here does a nice job, would love to see the atmosphere liven up a bit. God Bless. Recovery Tips: -Use Heat Pads on face a couple times a day for 5-7 minutes after Day 3. -No seed oils (eat organic). -Use warm salt water rinse 4+ times a day. -Get your jaw moving. -Ice only works for the first 24 hours. -Stay hydrated (electrolytes)

My experience with Coulee Region Implant & Oral Surgery was truly outstanding. Dr. Polzin and his team provided exceptional care from beginning to end! I typically get so nervous even thinking about having to go to the dentist. All of the staff listened to my concerns and genuinely calmed my fears throughout the entire process. Great experience as a patient from the management team to the nurse and doctor! Very positive vibe in this office. My procedure turned into an emergency and they got me in right away. Dr. Polzin was outstanding!

Coulee Region Implant & Oral Surgery Center, known as CRIOS, is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice with offices in La Crosse and Onalaska, Wisconsin. The Onalaska office at 2819 National Drive, Suite A, is the practice's second location, opened with the addition of Dr. Adam Sorenson and situated near Kujak Orthodontics and Endodontic Specialists. The practice's services center on dental implants, including single tooth replacement, replacement of multiple teeth, full mouth dental implants and All-on-4 implant supported teeth, along with wisdom tooth removal, tooth extractions, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, and care for facial injuries and oral pathology.
For patients considering implants, the practice describes a consultation that includes an examination, imaging and x-rays, and a discussion of goals, followed by a custom treatment plan developed together with the patient's family dentist. Dr. Timm completed dental training at Marquette University in 2002, trained in prosthodontics at the Veterans Hospital in Portland, Oregon, completed a fellowship in maxillofacial prosthetics at UCLA, and served as the oral and maxillofacial prosthodontist at Gundersen Clinic for five years before his oral surgery residency. Dr. Polzin graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry with honors in 2011, completed surgical training at Gundersen Health in 2014, and practiced with Marshfield Clinic in northern Wisconsin for three years before joining the team. Dr. Sorenson, a Wausau native, studied biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, graduated summa cum laude from Marquette University dental school, and completed a four year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Ohio State University. All three practice full scope oral surgery and have advanced training in intravenous sedation and anesthesia.
