Do not recommend. I just moved to the area a couple years ago and went here for some fillings and cleanings. I would always show up 5-10 minutes early for my appointment and have to wait 20-45 minutes after my appointment to be seen my the dental hygienist and even longer to be seen my Jennifer (the DDS). When I had my initial appointment Jennifer asked about any concerns I had regarding my teeth and bite. I brought up about 3-4 things to which she brushed off every concern and never mentioned them again. These concerns included some serious things like grinding, bite issues, and the like. She basically made me feel like I did not know what I was talking about and ignored every issue.
When I got my fillings the first time, she rushed the bite test making me come back 2 different times to get it corrected each time I had to wait over 30 minutes past my appointment time to bee seen. They used so much numbing product (novicane?) that I looked like a strike victim for about 4-5 hours after. And The fillings she did I will have to get redone due to poor quality.
The billing department would claim they mailed me the bill but I would never get it and when I finally did receive it, it would say “balance forward” with no break down of cost. This occurred at least 2 separate times.
The only good thing about this place is the Dental Hygienist (Holly I think) she was always sweet and very accommodating.

My husband and I have been going here for several years, and today I brought in my 3 year old for her first cleaning. Holly was amazing with my 3 year old, and made sure she had a wonderful experience! She loves the dentist now. Holly, Dr. Friedman, and the entire staff are wonderful and have created a great environment to bring your entire family for their dental needs!

Dr. Friedman and the entire staff are always pleasant and professional. Dental Hygienist Marin always does an excellent job and is always willing to take the time to explain things.

Coming in as a new patient and the whole experience was wonderful. I was warmly greeted when I came in filled out my paperwork and was seen right away. Holly was my hygienist and she does a fantastic job. She explained everything they were doing and why. She was super thorough with my exam and my cleaning. I left feeling like I was well taken care and even learned a bit about oral health to boot. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family!

Meet the Doctors
Dakota Family Dental is led by Dr. Jennifer LH Friedman, Doctor of Dental Surgery. Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Michigan in 2007. She joined the United States Air Force during dental school and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia before being stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in 2008. Dr. Friedman is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and The Black Hills District Dental Society. She has completed the Synergy Training Program for Implant Dentistry through Biomet 3i, has attended four Spear Seminars, is a member of the local Spear Study Club, and is currently completing the Kois Center Curriculum.
