I had my wisdom teeth removed here and I’m so glad I chose this clinic. The team was amazing—professional, patient, and really reassuring the whole time. They explained everything clearly and made the whole experience feel much less scary than I expected. My recovery has honestly been painless, which I’m still surprised (and very grateful) about. Dr. Rich even checked in to see how I was doing, which meant a lot. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing oral surgery.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Rich, his staff, and his office. Recently, I needed an extraction, something I've never had before, so I was a bit apprehensive. Although I feared the worst, my experience was practically pain-free, including the recovery. His text later to check on me was especially appreciated. His attention to detail is reflected in the quality of his staff. From my call to make the appointment through my follow-up appointment, everything was handled smoothly. It's so refreshing to have such a positive experience; I needed to let others know about it. Thank you, Dr. Rich and staff!

I took my son to Dr. Andrew Rich for his wisdom teeth extraction, and we had an excellent experience. Dr. Rich is kind, gentle, and highly professional, and the procedure was quick, efficient, and painless. He was very attentive and even checked on my son later that evening to see how he was doing.
The entire staff was courteous and professional, especially Rosalind, who was exceptionally kind and helpful. The clinic is beautiful and impeccably clean.
We were extremely pleased with every aspect of the visit, and I plan to bring my daughter here when she is ready next year. I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Rich and his clinic.

I’m so grateful to Dr. Rich and the team at Danville Oral Surgery. I came in for a tooth extraction and grafting, and Dr. Rich handled everything with real skill and care — the procedure was seamless. The sedation made it completely stress-free, and I felt safe in their hands. Everyone I interacted with — from the front desk to the nurses — was warm, kind, and accommodating. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Dr. Rich performed wisdom teeth extractions for both of our boys, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. One case was more complicated, which led us to search for a trustworthy and caring Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who also worked within our dental network. Our older son, who was home from college, developed a rare infection through no fault of anyone. Dr. Rich went above and beyond to ensure he healed properly and was able to return to school without any issues. He is incredibly thorough, compassionate, and takes the time to explain every step before proceeding.
Our younger son has a strong fear of both the dentist and needles, and Dr. Rich showed exceptional patience and understanding. He made sure our son felt comfortable and talked him through the entire process. The office staff is equally wonderful, kind, supportive, and welcoming from start to finish.
It was absolutely worth the research and the drive to see Dr. Rich. We’re so grateful for the care our family received.

Meet the Doctors
Danville Oral Surgery Center is led by Dr. Andrew Rich, DMD, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Rich grew up in Redding, California, completed his undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara, and earned his dental degree at Western University of Health Sciences. He then completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Highland General Hospital in Oakland and has lived in the Bay Area for over a decade. The practice displays affiliations with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association.
