I can’t say enough good things about Davis & Engert Dentistry. As someone with extreme dental anxiety, I have avoided going to the dentist for years. This team has completely changed my experience and I have now seen them regularly for a few years.
From the moment you walk in, they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Every hygienist I’ve seen has been kind, patient, and understanding, taking the time to check in and make sure I’m okay throughout the appointment. Dr. Mele is absolutely wonderful, she’s gentle, reassuring, and genuinely caring.
They are very accommodating and offer thoughtful comforts like weighted blankets, music, television, headphones. If you have dental anxiety, I highly recommend Davis & Engert Dentistry for a safe and supportive environment.

My family loves Davis and Engert. They’re extremely clean, the atmosphere is bright and inviting, the staff is so welcoming and this practice is on top of all the new advances in the field. My children(8,8) never worry about going to the dentist bc from the first visit at 2yrs old they made the experience comfortable and fun. If you’re looking for a practice to bring your family to, this is your place!!

My wife and I moved to the area a few years after they started their dentistry practice in Park Ridge, My wife asked a medical doctor friend, if he could recommend a good dentist. He said he goes to Dr. Davis and he was well pleased. We made our first appointment way back then, and our entire family has been going there ever since. We also have recommended this dentistry by word of mouth even before google was born, and of course, before google reviews existed. Well it's 2026 and my wife and I are older than dirt. We still have all of our teeth and we have this dentistry practice to thank for it. The least we can do to express our sincere appreciation is to submit this review which is way overdue. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. This is the dentistry you should trust your family's teeth with.

I’m so glad I made the switch to Davis & Engert! The continuing education the staff and especially Dr Julie does is incredible. I’m always so impressed with the knowledge she has about so many different facets of dentistry. My daughter also LOVES coming in for her appointments. All the hygienists are so nice and helpful and the front desk always has a smile and returns phone calls super quickly. You have patients for life!

Dr Mele, Jennifer and Lisi are amazing! They are incredibly respectful, pleasant, thoughtful and truely great listeners. I get a little anxious at the dentists but not with them! They care and it shows!
