I just had my appointment this morning and it was a great visit! Everyone at the front desk is super friendly and the office is clean and modern. Dr. Mak is patient, thorough, and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. Overall, I left feeling well cared for and confident in the quality of the treatment I received. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a dependable and friendly dental team.

I recently switched dental offices after feeling dissatisfied with my previous provider due to a lack of friendliness and overall experience. Today, I had an emergency appointment scheduled for 7:40 a.m., and I truly appreciated that the office was running right on time. The assistant who works alongside Dr. Neal was exceptional. When I mentioned that I had recently completed X-rays at another office, she took the initiative to see if they could access those images before taking new ones, which I greatly appreciated. Once I was brought back, Dr. Neal examined my tooth and completed the repair efficiently and professionally. I explained that it typically takes longer for me to get numb, and he was understanding and accommodating without hesitation. His care and attention made the entire experience comfortable and reassuring. It has been a long time since I’ve had a dentist I truly trust, and I am grateful to have found that here. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Davis Smiles to see Dr. Mak for several years now. I have never had a bad experience. I have several crowns, root canals, and fillings done here and I can honestly say that I am very happy with all of the work they've done on my teeth. I've never had an unpleasant experience with any of the staff and it's the most relaxed dental experience. Rosie at the front has been of great help and been very flexible when I've needed needed to reschedule. I haven't lived in Davis in many years but I still make the drive over as they are the best dentist office I've been to the whole region.

My doctor was great. He liked making jokes but was still professional and informative. However, I was told I need a root canal, and that there was a chance it would be marked as "incomplete" for various logical reasons. I was told by MULTIPLE PEOPLE that if it ends up being marked as an incomplete, I would be charged as just a regular dental visit. A different doctor attempted my root canal today, and said he would keep me updated as the procedure went on, but didn't. I had to attempt to ask how it's going between drillings and with a rubber block in my mouth about 45 minutes into the procedure, and he said he was going to have to mark it as incomplete. This itself is fine as I was warned previously, but color me shocked when they still charge me $541 afterwards anyways. If you get a procedure done here beyond a basic cleaning/xrays, GET THE QUOTES IN WRITING FIRST. Don't get scammed like I did. I will not get any further procedures done here unless I get my money back.

Best dentist visit ever! When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Rosie, who was super friendly and set a good vibe for the whole front reception area. I only had to wait for 5 mins before they called me back. Janet, my X-ray tech, was also really nice, thorough and professional. Mouth X-rays are usually uncomfortable for me because I have bony jaw growth under my tongue and she noticed that and made adjustments to accommodate. Dr. Neal was knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all my questions and most importantly, gave me time to respond before going back to working on my teeth and didn't make me feel rushed. Everyone was quick and efficient, but it still felt like they really cared enough to devote the time and energy into making it a positive experience for everyone. It was the little details that really made this a great experience, highly recommended!
