From the ladies at the front desk to the actual visit with Dr. Calhoun my trips to DeBary Dentistry always go well! I have experienced several cleanings, fillings and Invisalign services through their office. They communicate clearly through the entire process of each visit and make me feel comfortable and confident each time. Many times they have gone above and beyond to make sure the work is done properly for me. I’m thankful to have found a dentist I actually don’t mind going to! Although all of the dental hygienists are amazing Mrs. Beth is exceptional. If you’re in need of a dentist I can confidently recommend them!

I had a very positive experience at DeBary Dentistry. Ioana at the front desk was warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. She helped me schedule my follow up appointment and clearly reviewed my coverage and treatment options, which I truly appreciated.
Toni, my hygienist, was friendly and explained everything she was doing, which helped me feel at ease. Dr. Pirino was thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions.
After a stressful experience at a previous dental office, I came in feeling anxious and was really hoping for something different. I’m so glad I gave them a try. The office is close to home, and more importantly, I left feeling comfortable and confident in my care. I look forward to coming back.

I’ve been seeing Estrella as my dental hygienist for the past year, and I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about her. She has truly gotten me right! My teeth and overall oral health have improved so much under her care.
What sets Estrella apart is not just her skill, but her heart. Even when I’ve had a slip-up, she is always incredibly encouraging and supportive. She never makes you feel judged or embarrassed about anything — instead, she motivates you to do better and reminds you that progress is what matters. That kind of positivity makes such a difference.
She is absolutely amazing at what she does, and she’s a big reason why I continue my treatments. The entire office is wonderful as well — professional, welcoming, and organized — but Estrella is truly the star. I’m so grateful to have her as my hygienist!

I’ll be honest, I was negligent in my oral hygiene for a few months extra, because I was afraid I would run into yet another dentist’s office that didn’t get the job done, or gave me weird vibes. I can confidently say that my experience has been nothing short of a breath of fresh air. From my encounter with the receptionists, to the Dental Hygienist, to the Medical Dentist, they are all very kind and most importantly genuinely welcoming.
The office is super clean and nicely decorated throughout. And I can’t say enough about how thorough and knowledgeable and patient they are. Mine and my child’s cleaning was with Nate and fillings done with Dr.Wells. We were placed on a cancellation list to get in sooner and I was promptly called for openings so the communication is great! I’ve never felt less intimidated (and/or annoyed) about a visit to the dentist’s office. It feels like I’ve found my teeth a new home. ^_^

I cannot say enough good things about Debary Dentistry and especially about Dr. Pirino. This young man has such excellent skill and wonderful chairside manners. I had been a patient of another wonderful dentist in Deltona for many years but he is on his way to a well deserved retirement. I am so glad to have found Dr. Pirino. He gives the most painless injections and I recently needed to have a crown done and it fit perfectly from the moment he placed it. I hope to be a patient here for many years to come as I know I will be in good hands. This office is top notch and I just love my hygienist Estrella who has taken care of my oral health for a long time! Keep up the great work everyone!

Meet the Doctors
The clinical team at DeBary Dentistry includes Dr. Steven Calhoun, DMD, Dr. Mark Wells, DMD, Dr. Nathan Pirino, DDS, and Dr. Jonathan Elmore, DDS. Dr. Calhoun completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology, and graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association and routinely participates in continuing education. Dr. Wells focuses on compassionate, evidence-backed care and creating healthy smiles for patients of all ages. Dr. Pirino was born and raised in Orlando, earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Radford University, graduated from dental school at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, and is a member of the American Dental Association; he practices general dentistry. Dr. Elmore is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who earned his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College, completed dental training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, and completed specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. He is the founder of AMP Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
